Ritz Paris Hotel 

We had an amazing one-night stay at the Ritz Paris in October, and from the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. The whole team were so friendly, warm and approachable, while still maintaining that effortless Ritz level of service. Nothing ever felt too formal or stuffy, which made the stay feel particularly special. One of the highlights for us was the spa. It really is amazing and absolutely worth making the trip down to visit, even for a short stay. The pool and facilities are immaculate, and I would say the spa is definitely one of the best perks of staying at the hotel. We had also arranged for a few deliveries to arrive at the hotel before us, and it was such a lovely touch that the team had everything packaged together and ready for us when we arrived. It made everything so easy. We booked our stay through our travel agent and had an excellent arrival and departure service arranged from CDG, and then onwards to Gare de l’Est as we were travelling to Épernay. Everything was seamless and made the whole journey feel completely effortless. Nicolas checked us in (I hope I have his name and spelling correct!) and was fantastic. There was a beautiful bottle of Ruinart Champagne waiting for us, which was a wonderful welcome. He also managed to arrange a seat for us at Bar Hemingway and, at the last minute, secured us a reservation at Ralph’s after our reservation at RH fell through. Ralph’s was definitely worth the visit, so we were very grateful that he managed to arrange it for us. I also wanted to mention the manager in the breakfast area, who wears glasses — unfortunately, I can’t remember his name! He was incredibly entertaining and engaging with us throughout breakfast and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He even offered to package up some of our breakfast pastries for us to take on the train for our onward journey. Such a small gesture, but one that really stood out and summed up the level of care we experienced throughout our stay. For just one night, the Ritz managed to make it feel like a much longer and much more memorable stay. The combination of the beautiful hotel, exceptional facilities and, most importantly, genuinely warm and friendly staff made it a real pleasure. We will absolutely be back. A truly memorable stay at the Ritz Paris.
