39 reviewsPaulo was a very helpful host in the weeks leading to our holiday and during our time there too. The location was very private with a 2.5km gravel road that links the property to the main road south of Monticatini Val di Cacina. Our apartment for 4 adults was on the ground floor at the rear of the property getting the early morning and late evening sun. Perfect for us when it was 30-35 degrees most days. The pool was really refreshing. We love the hills and mountains of Italy because of their beauty and tranquility, even at the height of the holiday season. The views across the valley from the pool were stunning and I rented a road bike for the week to explore the local area. Volterra dominates the local region and is well worth a visit, as is San Gimignano but get there early to avoid the masses.( That's people not religious ceremonies ) . One night Paula arranged for a local lady to cook a traditional 4 course Tuscan meal with local organic wine for us and other guests for €18 each. Delicious food and very good value. In summary we had an amazing time and i would be happy to recommend this property to friends and family. Fraser and Claudia, Bristol, UK
