The staff are trying their best to communicate with us even if they are having difficulty speaking the English language.

Clean room and the location is near the beach

This is not a hotel. It's a guest house. The staff lies all the time. The rooms are very small, there are no bathroom amenities not even a soap in the rooms. No coffee machine or other things mentioned in the room. Staffs are extremely uncooperative. They lied about the excursion rates.  The TV, water heaters were not working.

Most disgusting stayed

My family and I stayed in Rani Beach for a night, March 2018. We have stayed many hotel in HulhuMale'. The stay in Rani Beach was not good as the other hotel.
The rooms were small and bit old.  The furniture was not tastefully decorated and toilet lock was broken. The Telephone was out of order, you need to call from your mobile to reception or you need to walk to downstairs.
The staff were polite and extremely attentive. 
All in all, the hotel good but, they need to have renovation for the rooms.

Quite disappointing experience. The room was dirty and everything had a very worn feeling to it. Very different from the pictures they’ve posted on Hotels.com. Very dark in the bathroom, cause one of the bulbs wasn’t working. Which wasn’t fixed even after I mentioned it. There was no toilet paper, soap, towel or anything shown on the profile. And no common space like there’s also shown on the profile. No coffee with breakfast. Had to wait more than 30 min at the airport for the transfer - though the day before I had told the, when I would be there.All in all definitely not a place i can recommend.

Very disappointing...

When we arrive in Maldives and expected someone from Rani Hotel will be there to pick us up (we did email & they already confirm to pick us) but in the end we were been told they dont have any transportation in last minute. There are no cab in the airport. So we decided to just follow their public bus to hulhumale. But we dont complain much. But when we arrive at the Bus stop and the bus conductor show us the way to Rani Hotel. Is not far from where we stop. When arrive at the hotel the staff were apologise about the transportation. They were very helpful and show us our room. But some need to improve. 
- Room is small 
- Bed is hard and not really comfortable to sleep. 
- recommend only for who want to sleep overnight and not for long stay guest. 


Decent place for overnight 

Most disgusting place I have ever ever stayed! Never again, luckily our tour operator reimbursed full monies on this, so we were lucky, but still had to 'sleep ' there, the pictures below show the bathroom and cracked window with no curtains 

A dive

The welcoming and kind staff is this property's best asset. It is close to the beach by just 2 minutes walk. Shops and restaurants are around too. The hotel can arrange airport pick-up too. Best to stay right after arrival or before departure.

Friendly Staff

This is not a four star hotel. It is a guest house. The staff lies all the time. The owner asked us to cancel our booking at Booking.com and he will give us a concession. We refused and he cancelled it himself to save the charges of Booking.com. Of course we complained and got it fixed. The rooms are very small, there are no bathroom amenities not even a soap in the rooms. No coffee machine or other things mentioned in the room. Staff especially Mohammad is extremely uncooperative. They lied about the excursion rates. We could have got better rates from outside. They lied about the seaplane ride as well. The water heaters were not working. The electricity tripped off again and again and was fixed after 24 hours when asked for a refund and we wanted to leave the place.

A horrible experience 

The worst "hotel" I have ever stayed. The photos and description in the internet absolutely don`t correspond with real life - dirty, spoiled rooms with minimum facilities, unfriendly staff. Wouldn`t recommend.

Guest house, not hotel

This was a standard hotel and not bad for a one night stay. However, we had to wait over an hour to get a pickup at the airport.  Also, they are offering a 'free return transfer' but beware that this is only one way and so are charged $20 for a one way transfer which I think is steep
