Peter met us at the ferry terminal and brought us to the room which made it much easier for us (10 euros). He was very helpful with recommendations on things to do in Dubrovnik. The apartment is conveniently located in the old city, which is ideal. It has everything that we need. It is clean. The listing is a bit overrated on conveniences (no washing machine),but there is a complete kitchen with microwave, clean bathroom with hairdryer, and a very nice loft bedroom with a king size bed. There is Wi-Fi, TV and air conditioning. We are very happy with everything here. 

Stayed here for a week, the owner Peter was very helpful meeting us at airport and taking us back there, 35 euros each way. We were yards from every facility including local supermarket, a bakery that opened at 7 am, tourist information, waterfront bars and restaurants. Apartment was clean with a good shower.

A bit disappointed when we first arrived and slightly confused by not being on Prijeko (see other reviews). However, the bed was really comfortable, the facilities worked really well. Air con was excellent, no problems with WiFi, huge no of channels on satellite- tho’ only sky news from uk there were plenty of stations showing English language films.   The bathroom was tiny but the great shower made up for that. We found the host very helpful in organising transfers and advice on where to eat, shop etc.  The location was amazing and made up for any little downsides - would definitely return. 

Very helpful & friendly staff   location is noisy at night due to late bar but super comfortable beds and air con make it easy to sleep.   Equipped kitchen.  Very central off the main st and not too many steps.  Delicious restaurants nearby

Local Apartment

I booked booking.com for this apartment.  The host picked me up (20 euros) and took me to an apartment that was at a different address.  I thought I must have had wrong address so left it.  The apartment I had was in the old town but was not nearly as nice as the photos on booking.com for Prijeko (that's the street name -it should have been No 17).  I feel a bit ripped off - the aprtment I ended up in was more like a hostel room.  It was clean but old and felt grubby.  The bedroom was upstairs - like a mezzanine accessed by a very narrow steep staricase.
I spoke to another couple in the room next door - they seem to have had the same questions as me.... why were we not at the apartment at 17 Prijeko??
I smell a rat and would not recommend this place.

Something fishy here !!

It was the worst experience. I booked on booking this accommodation that looked like a nice apartment with 2 spacious rooms. The owner (or the person in charge of the accommodation) was only to be found one night before the accommodation. The number given in the mail was not valid and the mail he did not respond. In short: he took us to a tiny attic with steep stairs and no door ,imposible to stay there. His explanation: they are agency and that was booked for us. the pictures on the site no longer existed. when I asked for explanations he became aggressive and gave us out (lucky he didn't stop my money on the reservation) due to him on December 30th 3 adults and a french bulldog looking for accommodation in Dubrovnik. 

 

Horror

For our friends birthday we decided to book a superior room at this place collected no problem and host very good then we paid nearly £280 for this superior room we booked over about 6 weeks ago my wife was shocked make your mind up and take a look at our superior room I will be contacting booking.com

Room was not correct. Services were not as advertised. Had to stay 1 night before we found alternative accommodation. Tv didn’t work, really poor maintenance, just a really disappointing and uncomfortable experience that I hope to never go through again. Could not sleep as the night life ‘doof doof’ music vibrated through the complex. STAY AWAY.

Avoid

Searched for 4+ stars in Dubrovnik old city and came up with an offer on Prijeko House:  half price but still expensive with 8.1 rating on Booking.com.
Good vibes continued with effective communications from the manager.
Airport pickup also went smoothly.  Pero was very helpful  
The crunch came on arrival in the room: 
1 it was very dirty:  hair and grit on floors and stairs
2 No TV in bedroom:  there was a bracket for it
3 Curtain rail fell off the wall when I tried to close it:  evidence of that happening before
4 Inadequate kitchen items and cupboard door opened the wrong way
5 Broken shower hose:  hand held and no hook, no soap in container, slimy shower curtain
6 Broken fridge shelf
