Lovely clean room. Stayed here for 2 night. Has a shower room which we requested. Beautifully clean. Staff were very helpful and could not do enough for us.
Hotel near to Taunton town centre and local shops and entertainment nearby.
A lovely stay. Would definitely return.

Great Stay

Clean, quiet, comfy beds, great buffet breakfast, friendly service. Highly recommend this Premier Inn.  This is very convenient if you are travelling down the M5 as it is about a mile from the motorway junction.  Room had a shower rather than a bath with a shower over, but I prefer that.  Will visit again.

Excellent

A shout out to Mandi, Emma and Deanna - lovely staff makes such a difference and these ladies definitely shine in the customer care department. Accessible room with a bed that splits into 2 single beds is a game changer - thank you. Accessible wet room also a game changer. Will be seeing more of the Premier Inn on our travels. Hotel was full but still quiet and the beds were very comfortable.

Great Staff

The first thing that we notice was the smell, smelt like a damp hamster cage. Soon to find out that it was the damp bathroom with black mould. Staff in hotel were wonderful, "chef" in the beefeater, not quite so!!

Stays for 2 nights to attend funeral in Exeter. Room absolutely fine and bed as comfortable as always.

We ate in the Beefeater on he first night. Sat in a little extension area and nicely served. But this place needs a bigger huge spring clean. Breakfast showed up Filthy carpet and everything looked grubby. Definitely not nice as far as I was concerned.

Perfect for our 2 nights’ stay

What a wonderful place to stay the staff on arrival were very welcoming and during our stay there was nothing to much trouble. Thank you for the directions to the crematorium found it straight away. What a lovely hotel to stay

A wonderful Friendly Hotel

Nice clean Premier inn with friendly staff that were very helpful and the on site Beefeater was excellent for evening meal and breakfast. Would happily stay here again it’s a lovely part of the country. 

Awful food! I spent two nights at this hotel on business. The hotel was fine. Staff were helpful and the room clean and well maintained as you’d expect. My problem is with the food. There’s a Beefeater restaurant adjacent to the hotel where ‘meal deal’ dinners and breakfasts are served. I can honestly say that the food ranks in my top 3 worst ever. The calamari was massively over cooked, flavourless and greasy. The burger was cold, dry, tough and flavourless. The breakfasts were cold and undercooked - clearly wanting to get it out as quickly as possibly. If my employer hadn’t prepaid for the food I would have refused to pay. Truly awful!

Worst food ever!

We were visiting friends for the weekend so wanted a hotel close to them. I stay at the Premier Inn for work, so knew generally the hotels are of the same level of quality.

The room was a bit small for 2 adults and 2 children, as the spare bed was against the heater. As this was the case, we switched it off during the night. Room was comfortable, staff friendly, and value for money. I would book again.

The breakfast was good, value for money as kids are free, but the chief refused to cook a poached egg as he was "too busy". Not too busy to pop out for a cigarette break.


Clean, value for money

Pleasant staff, clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet, easy access, ample parking and good breakfast - everything you need for a business trip. But I’d happily use it privately as a base hotel to explore the area or visit family/friends.
