Have stayed at this hotel multiple times in recent years - as always, a really comfortable stay and a very convenient location. 

Karen (a familiar and friendly face) and the rest of the staff are always so friendly and helpful! I look forward to returning some time in the future.

I stay at Sunderland Centre Premier Inn every visit which is four times a year to visit family. The hotel is perfectly situated for my needs and always delivers great experience. The hotel is always spotless, comfortable and above all quiet at all times. The room is really a base of operations as I spend as much of the stay with family as possible. The bed is always super comfortable and I enjoy waking up and spending an hour or so watching tv before starting my day. For me I like to exercise in the room and the space allows me to do this effectively. The shower is powerful enough amd the bathroom is always really clean. Overall a great stay, that's why I keep returning. Highly recommended.

Brilliant stay. Well looked after by all staff apologies I'm terrible with names but all bar staff and reception staff are first class. To be greeted by your first name when you come down for Breakfast is brilliant. Breakfast made by Lees fine hands was outstanding. Well worth a visit.

Karen and Helen were so so friendly and looked after us brilliantly. They made sure we ended up with a spare bed in our room as well. The breakfast was yummy and dinner was as well. I recommend the burger. It set us up well for our days at the beaches around here

Although we didn't stay at this hotel we did have family staying as they had come to visit us over the easter holidays. We drank and ate in the hotel with them (both nights) and the food was lovely, a big shout out to Ryan and Helen who made our weekend great they were very attentive, chatted with us and even gave the kids easter eggs. Both Ryan and Helen are such a credit to the company.

I would recommend it to anyone, The premier inn was excellent, the room and food were good value for money and all the  staff were friendly  and exceptionally helpful.  Access and parking were good although the car park was a public car park, but adjacent to  the hotel and only £12 for an overnight stay.

Loved staying at the Premier Inn Sunderland City Centre. Everything you need is on your doorstep, from pubs, restaurants, shopping, football group etc! The bed is comfortable, air con can be switched on/off at your convenience and the staff are friendly and more than happy to help with anything. I have stayed here twice and will certainly be staying again in the near future.

Great location if you are going to the Theatre or The Firestation for an event. 
Friendly staff - room very clean and comfortable.  Good choice at breakfast - food nice and hot.  Would have no hesitation staying again - in fact we are in June!  

I food the hotel service much better than I expected, the food was lovely and the room was great.   I'll definitely be returning!
I was anxious as starting alone and not been to area area for a while but staff made it easy to check in, explained what I needed to and made sure I knew where I was going.

We encountered issues when we first arrived and the staff tried to resolve these the bet they could in the most friendly and helpful manner which was appreciated even though they could not fully resolve the issues.

Mike, Rhiannon, Ryan and Kirsty are a credit to the Hotel along with the team in the kitchen as the food was amazing both dinner and breakfast.

Another excellent stay!

Visited Sunderland to see a show at the Empire Stadium, hotel very handy and a few minutes walk away from the theatre. We arrived by train and the hotel was around a 10minute walk away.

Staff friendly, room clean. We paid extra for breakfast which was good which plenty of options.
