Stayed one night. Property was lovely. Room was clean, and cute aesthetically. Would stay again:)

We loved the ponderosa Room. Very clean and cozy. We felt like we were deep in to the woods without being away from the City, stores, etc.

Pick this place. It's right on the river, you can hear the water. We got a room with a kitchenette, has everything but an oven. Everything you need to cook, just bring your own food. We didn't eat out once, we grilled all the time. Packed picnics for hiking. Grocery store close. Awesome grills- 1 with propane, or another if you want to bring your own charcoal. Gazebo with lights and picnic tables where grill is out. Has fire ring. Hot tub was awesome, right next to river. Rooms are super clean. We took the room with a bed & a couch that folded out to a bed. TV in between the areas so you can watch TV from either side, and have a couch to enjoy. Has internet, and basic cable. So you can stream or watch TV. Fireplace was awesome, and they stocked with wood. More wood available to purchase, cheaper than grocery store. Close to town, but out of town giving you that remote feel. Just a couple miles from entrance to RMNP.  Rates were great. Soundproof rooms, we never heard anyone. We took Stanley Hotel night tours. We brought our own tubes to go snow tubing at RMNP. Took hikes at RMNP. We rented from Estes Park ATV rentals/BackBone Adventures; they price matched a groupon. That was a blast. Shops are downtown if you like to shop. We kenneled our dogs at Este Park Pet Lodge since dogs not allowed in this lodge, nor on trails at RMNP, they are excellent. Great trip. I will stay here again. Loved it!!

Darrel was very kinda and welcoming. The place itself is super cute and cozy and tucked away from everything. It was the perfect escape. Next time, I want to check out the hot tub and spend time on the little balcony. Looking forward to staying at Ponderosa Lodge again!

Our room(s) were great. We actually stayed in two different rooms during our stay and both were wonderful.We had a bit of trouble with the electronic locking system, but the manager was extremely helpful and responded quickly to resolve the issue. We were very pleased with the accommodations and the responsive staff.This is the place to stay when visiting Estes Park.

Excellent accommodations and guest service! Provided texts with all the details we needed to find the driveway, our room access details and responded right away to questions about the amenities. The kitchenette  had everything which was wonderful for us to have home cooked breakfast /coffee before early days of hiking. The rooms were cozy and comfortable with fireplace , deck, and lodge themed decorations. Clean and quiet for a restful sleep. Staff was friendly. I will be back when the mountains call again!

Delightful property sitting next to the flowing river.  Room 13 has beautiful patio and window where you can see and hear the water.   Office staff was helpful and flexible.  Close to RMNP and Estes Park. Great base for exploring the area.Wi-Fi is iffy around the property—sometimes strong and sometimes weak. Providing a stronger signal would make this property perfect

The property, and especially our room, was breathtaking. I loved being able to have a fire going in our room while we listened to the river flowing right off our balcony. Staff was friendly and room was clean! The only things that were a little annoying were the screen on our balcony door was barely intact, lock for the balcony door handle was secured onto a broken door trim, and while the walls were beautifully soundproofed, we could hear every movement from our neighbor above us.

I have arrived after the office hours but I received an email with detailed instructions how to check in. The room was very comfortable and clean. The sound of the stream was very calming but it was also nice that you could not hear it when the balcony doors were closed. For me it was just a short weekend trip and I wish I could stay longer.. next time..

Great!

Great place to stay if planning a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park.  Gate to park just a short drive.  Lodge is located along a small river.  Our room was a corner unit.  Nice comfy bed, nice bathroom, tv, couch, patio overlooking the river.  No kitchen but I think they offer cabins with kitchens if you wish.  “Coffee bar” in room well sucked with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cider, sugar, cream, etc.  Regular size coffee pot and real coffee mugs!  Small fridge with freezer and small microwave,  very laid back lodge.  We’ll be back!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The staffs are wonderful. They baked tasty cookies every day. Our room has a large patio with furnitures right next to the Fall River. It’s really soothing listening to the water every day after a hard hike. The lodge is a few minutes drive to downtown Estes Park so it pretty quiet yet convenient for shopping and restaurants. Inside the unit, everything is very clean. Overall, enjoyed our stay here.

Nice and quiet and it's right on the river. The deck right outside the door overlooks the river so if you leave the door cracked you can hear it all night it's great. The rest of the restaurant within walking distance and a trolley that can take you into Estes Park and back for free. This is great for budget-friendly people because the prices are awesome as well. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. It is also very close to the Rocky mountain national Park entrance. Five stars all the way I would give more if I could and I will definitely stay here again.

Spotlessly clean and well maintained We stayed in the Ponderosa room and had our own private hot tub .The room was very spacious , clean and comfortable bed , lovely shower .Only advice i could offer is maybe  a toaster provided and more dishes  and glasses  as we only had 2 glasses provided , 3 of other items , a few more items provided  would mean we didn’t have to wash up Immediately, remember we are on vacation ! All cleaning equipment  ie. Dish washing liquid , tea towels , kitchen towels provided , much appreciated Darryl very communicative and Aspen the dog   very friendly  We were able to cook simple meals , stove top and microwave, essential in my case due to food allergies .We would stay again , good value for money  Only a 3-4  miles from Rocky Mountain park  access and Estes park even closer
