Pod Lipą 2

We stayed here in Feb 2015 as a family of 2 adults and 12 year old child. We had stayed in the area previous year and were going to stay there but it was booked out so we looked around and found Pod Lipa 2. Communication was excellent with the owners and we booked and paid a small deposit. We requested either the apartment or 2 adjacent double rooms and were allocated the apartment. It is located around 2km from the Thermal Baths and Ski resort. We had a car but tended to use the free Ski bus that left every half hour from the bottom of the drive. It is easy to find as its well signposted from the main road and on arrival we were greeted and shown our apartment. First impressions was how spacious it was , one large kitchen,dining,living space with balcony, then bathroom and large double bedroom with en-suite and balcony. The views from the balconies were stunning and you could see the ski slopes and Tatra mountains. The apartment was always warm and always had hot water. Kitchen was fine , we didnt really use it bar for snacks and storing drinks in the fridge. It had a large table that seated 4 with large windows looking over the Tatras. sitting room had a sofa bed and coffee table and a flat screen TV. between this area and the bedroom was another sofa bed and a wardrobe. bathroom with shower , sink and toilet. Bedroom had a comfy proper double bed and 2 beside cabinets and TV cabinet and coat rack and en-suite. Balcony had views over the ski resort. We opted for breakfast and that was superb! always a large and tasty continental spread , each day was another hot option , eggs , bacon , sausage , pancakes etc. Numerous coffee , tea and drink options with cereals for kids. We really looked forward to the breakfast each morning , was a bright spacious dining area with a sofa and log fire. The entire property was spotlessly clean and spacious and staff always on hand if needed. Would have no hesitation in recommending
