Things we liked about Lotus Hotel: Easy access to MRT Xinbeitou station. Bus station for access to YangMing Shan park directly across the street. Location directly across from the pleasant Beitou Park and Beitou library. At least 3 7-11 stores visible from front door! Clean. Helpful front desk staff. Nice hearty breakfast. Umbrellas available to borrow. Hallway music innocuous and at pleasant volume. Hot springs bath literally in your own private bathtub! Things to note: Bathroom did not offer shampoo. Bathroom is also the wet style: one drain in center of floor and no shower curtain. Decor of entire hotel is on the "tired" end of the spectrum.
