Totally non-worthy. We were asked about at what price we discussed and booked  the room for our 4-night stay which is by our opinion unprofessional and sounds like a scam. The room was not cleaned although we waited for it to “be ready for us”. The common parts was also polluted.

Non-worthy the price and peace place

well i donno where to start...
The cleanless was awfull.the first day in the room there were hairs in the bad i guess from previous who stay in the room.
i was requesting cleaning everyday by putting to door note (i did stay 3 nights) and they never put soup or shampoo which means as we were two people we should take care for 3 days with 2 small piece of shampoo and soup!!!!!!!!!!!!
the wireless of internet was not working properly.
there is a television but even Bulgarian channel were not proper..which means it was not working...
I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST THIS HOTEL FOR THESE PRICE....

눇The place is in the center just 100m to Harmanli and the main street where  all kinda shops and restaurants are located in the town.

Terrible

A nice cozy hotel on the first line from the sea. Lived on the fourth floor in a two-room with sea view and a large balcony.

Although the location is excellent, close to the beach, shops and restaurants, not bad rooms, I have experienced the worst customer service ever. The owners were very unfriendly, they behaved as they have never seen or heard about good service, shouting at us, couldn't give us any directions where the car park was as the hotel is located in the pedestrian zone, one of the rooms was double booked and we couldn't check in till late afternoon, even one of us had to stay in a different hotel overnight. We booked a holiday with room, breakfast and dinner, it appeared that there is no restaurant in the hotel so we had our meals served in the rooms, there wasn't much choice and the quality was extremely poor. The dirty plates were left always in the rooms overnight. I can't believe that places like that exist!!!!

The worst customer service I have ever seen

we were a couple from Dublin Ireland who stayed at phoenix family hotel from the 9th of august to the 16th august 2013. We had a lovely sea view room hotel was spotless staff nice location great breakfast lovely to room every morning we like eggs so we got friied eggs and omletts juice tea coffee and bread for two euro each.I would defiently go back to this hotel

The owner of the hotel refused to give us a room, ignoring and rejecting my booking confirmation at arrival and without a prior notice. I made a booking for a room in Phoenix Family Hotel, Sozpol via booking.com and received an immediate confirmation on August 4-th. I drove my wife and daughter to the hotel on the check in date - August 11, 2013 for a 6 day stay at the hotel. The receptionist, who introduced himself as the owner of the hotel, said that we would not get a room, because all rooms had already been occupied. I showed him the booking confirmation and the guy said that this confirmation came from booking.com and it was his sole decision whether he would obey a confirmation from booking.com or not, because he was the owner!!! I couldn`t believe that type of attitude from the side of the owner of a hotel towards guests.

Refused booking AT ARRIVAL!!! Stay away!

It's a horrible hotel! The maid never heard about brooming and mopping. We were a group of 51 persons from Romania, mostly children( we tought we had bad conditions). At the recpion we had to give the passports three times in 7 days because they didn't understand that through the time some persons refused to come so it wasn't the original number. In the bathroom on booking site's it sais that there is a hair dryer but in my bathroom( room 49 on the 4th floor) there remainned only the wire... The maid never changed the bed clothes and the towels... the bed's stayed on four stands but it always falled off... There wasn't a flat screen TV, it was one with tube and a decoder for the channels, but none of them worked...The leakage in the bathroom was clogged with dirt, sand and a lot of hair... The staff was the most idiot possible...none of the understood english...the best day here was when one men from the reception was beaten by a person on the street who took the fight... at the every 2 days they changed the password at the "free" WiFi network but they didn't aknowledged this thing so we didn't have network connection...The elevator was blocking between the floors at the every 3 hours and none of them cared about this thing...Anyone could enter in another rooms by the balcony... at thye bathroom, again, they run out of hot water in the middle of the shower... the toilet wasn't fixed on the floor... at the every meal they bringed cold food, if i can name it food, the most served food were the cucumbers and a soup without any taste...we had to make a big affray to receive edible food...the fridge in the room didn't worked... it was a wonder that the maid changed the toilet paper once in 7 days( lucky us that we had napkins)... the only good thing here was the air conditioning, the beach and the little stores in the zone of the hotel... we lived only with the shaworma that was next to the hotel... I WILL NEVER WALK IN THIS HOTEL EVER AGAIN AND NOT ADVICE ANYONE TO COME HERE
