Beautiful guest house, very traditional old German style with gardens and lovely pool area. Rooms rather dated and stuffy in 30*+ heat we've had lately. Little English spoken so be prepared with basic German and a dictionary, we were the only English there. Would've struggled without my school girl German! The proprietress wasn't particularly friendly or helpful, whether this was due to the language barrier or just her personality. The only local place to eat is Sattelkammer, a family run bar/restaurant within walking distance, limited menu but extremely good food and very welcoming,despite the language barrier. Bernkastel-kues worth a visit, very pretty tourist town on the Mosel with boat trips and stunning architecture.
