Really lovely room and bathroom with a perfect welcome. Breakfast was huge and I was even given a box to take what I couldn’t eat out with me for lunch. Cafe seems really popular with the locals too which is always a good sign. Thank you so much for a relaxing stay!

Wow! So impressed with this little hidden gem. The staff in the café were so friendly and  welcomed me with such professionalism and booked me in earlier than anticipated as I was attending a wedding.
The entrance to the room was via a pretty little garden with furniture to relax on, a very peaceful spot. The room was wonderful, a great space, with a sofa to relax on, a chaise long at the foot of the bed, a wardrobe, tele and beautiful lighting.
The bathroom was lovely with a big deep bath to relax in. 
The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, with lovely cotton linen and a fur throw, if needed.
The little touches such as the fridge, which on request the staff popped some ice into the freezer compartment for when i returned later in the evening. The tea and coffee facilities were excellent, with plenty of choice with a pod coffee maker available and fresh milk in the fridge.
I slept really well and felt safe and secure as there was a front door and lobby which was securely locked on entrance to the building.
Breakfast the next day was top notch!!
Couldn't recommend Café Maelmin and Pantile Lodge enough, deserves a 4 star review and that's what I've give. Well done guys!

A lovely large room that has every thing you need for a stay. The staff who run this and the adjoining cafe are all very friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem. The breakfast in the cafe was outstanding. We would definitely return. Pub over the road is a bonus.

Just returned from a fabulous few days in Northumberland where we stayed in Pantile Lodge.  Beautiful decor, spotlessly clean, and the breakfast at the cafe was superb, a real belly buster!!! Special mention to Alison who was very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for her.  Well done to all the staff for a perfect few days xx

Great B&B and the room is seperate from the house , lovely room very clean and tidy also lovely bathroom with complimentary toilitries everything you need coffe machine, kettle complimentary tea and coffee also with few extra nice snacks bottle water, bar chocolate, crisps very comfortable bed also had black out blinds perfect the staff all very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and on one of the mornings we were leaving early so the owners brought us some breakfast to the room along with a packed lunch to take with us on our day out would definitely recommend and we will definetly be back excellent B&B

I work away during most of the week which means hotel stays every night all over the UK, luckily enough my management booked me into pantile lodge for the night and all I can say is absolutely amazing, I got checked in by a lovely lady who explained everything to me and even went out of her way to make arrangements for me to have an early breakfast delivered to my room now this is what I class as excellent customer service, ambient environment and nothing around here can beat an over night stay like pantile lodge, would highly recommend. Keep up the good work guys and thank you for your hospitality.

Husband  and I have just had a night at the Pantile Lodge and everything was just perfect.  From the moment we arrived the staff were so welcoming and friendly. There are only two rooms with their own private garden. Lovely garden furniture and pretty pots of flowers. The room was perfect. Very comfy sofa for lounging, decorated beautifully with nice soft furnishings.  Decent sized bathroom with toiletries.  The tea and coffee station was well stocked. Coffee machine with a variety of coffee pods and fresh milk in the fridge.  Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day as it was plentiful. 
Highly recommend this place and to be sure if we are in the area again would certainly return.
Keep doing what you are doing because we couldn't fault a thing. Thank you. 

Very good value for money considering the size of the room and the extensive breakfast menu. All staff make you feel very welcome. Nice bath towels, shower products, a generous in room tea tray, hanging and drawer space for more than 1 night if you need it. The room was pretty and the shower room was functional and very clean. Well maintained grassed outdoor area with summer bedding. Very generous breakfast of quality and served with a  smile and friendly chat. Will stay again.

Good value B and B.

Lovely well decorated room only let down by the bed very hard and the springs pinged when you moved, spotlessly clean and breakfast was fabulous. We stayed after a visit to bamburgh castle not realising it was so far from it we visited the pub acroos the road for a couple of drink and had dinner in berwick.

Only one night on this occasion which is way too short for the facilities and comfort offered by this peaceful location in the middle of Northumberland.Assured of a warm welcome from the hosts who are onsite. Licensed cafe serves food and a local pub is nearby. We will be using this for future visits to the area without any shadow of doubt

Ideal home from home in Northumberland

Great staff, friendy and helpfull. Room is bid , nice bed and even a sofa that was comfy. Outside patio furnature in a private garden great to catch a few rays. Food in the cafe ajoining the lodges so not far to walk, food is to die for great sunday dinner with proper Yorkshire puddings and the beef fell apart. Breakfast has plenty of good produce you will need somenroom as there is lots of it. The cakes are very naughty but very nice. And have a looknround at sime of the local artist craft.Wish we were closer would be coming

We stayed here whilst on a road trip round Northumberland. This is one of the best B&Bs we’ve ever stayed at. Spacious accommodation with a garden. The welcome pack was very generous as was the welcome. Breakfast was excellent. The team could not do enough for us. Great base - Lindisfarne, Bamburgh and Alnwick all within reach. We’ll be back!
