Palermo Tower by P Hotels 

Stayed for four nights at the end of November. The location in Palermo Hollywood is a great base for travelling around - 5 min walk from Palermo Metro, 10-20 mins walk to Palermo Soho (the cool part of the city with bars restaurants etc) or a quick Uber. We actually spent a lot of time in P. Soho so I'm glad we were close by. The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. I think the general consensus for Buenos Aires is that there is a lot of outside noise - sometimes a large bus or truck could be so loud you'd think your balcony door was wide open - a bit of sound insulation would have made our stay a very peaceful one as the bed is extremely comfy! The room had a nice kitchen area that we barely used, with the odd missing glass or utensil here or there which was a shame. It was good to have a toaster and fridge. It was also a lovely big room with loads of space and a huge bed, and bathroom with both shower and "jacuzzi bubble" bath. It would have been nice to have some nets behind the dark curtains to let some light in with privacy - otherwise you'd have to keep them drawn and they were very effective blackouts! We were excited to have use of a rooftop pool but it wasn't the most inspiring area (not a great view of unattractive buildings - not the hotels fault! - sunbeds didnt look very clean or comfortable) and in the end we didn't use it at all. Generally the hotel/room was always very clean and comfortable, if it wasn't for the noise issue my rating would have been higher. For BA, I think for what you pay this is definitely a decent deal compared to others I saw. To have made it perfect, better sound proofing for an uninterrupted sleep, having more natural light (with privacy) in the room, better kitchen utensils etc, and a prettier inviting pool area would have cinched the deal for me!
