Aside from this hotel being at the top of my budget, I decided to splurge and so glad I did. I stayed in a basic room with a King bed. The bed was so comfortable, pillows, bedding all so perfect and cozy, large windows, bright and cheery. The room was very clean with nice window treatments and furnishings. Great TV, easy to operate with many channels and hotel information. The hotel had a great vibe that was very homey, not sterile. Lobby bar with tasty cocktails every night and even late night bites that I could take to my room after a long day. Breakfast and lunch offerings as well with three separate seating areas. I loved the location, quick walk to central park, lincoln center and more...just a great neighborhood. Ive stayed in many hotels in New York but this is my favorite.
