Chris and the team are super friendly and the place is beautiful. There was plenty of space to roam around and the lodge had great facilities to cook and enjoy the view over Great Lake Taupo. High recommend.

A very high standard hostel with everything you need and more. Very clean and spacious and the crowning glory - a stunning view of Lake Tapu. A quiet and secluded place, only a short distance from the lake. The owner, Chris is a young and friendly guy who takes care that there is nothing missing and is available for any request. Anyone looking for a special place for a special occasion or a dream holiday. highly recommend!!

Omori Lodge is located within a natural, peaceful setting overlooking Lake Taupo.  
The close proximity to Tongariro National Park allowed ease of access to an array of activities which was a huge bonus.
The facilities are of an incredibly high standard. The lodge itself is inviting and very warm. 
Fantastic service and so affordable.
I visited with one of my children. The facility itself is suitable for families, larger groups and large enough for privacy for couples visiting. 
I highly reccommend the lodge to all. In comparison to nearby accommodation options, this is very much value for money.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Omori Lodge. The Lodge was clean, spacious and had a peaceful atmosphere. And the views of Lake Taupo were stunning. The manager Chris was super friendly and knows a lot about activities in the area such as hiking and hunting. All in all, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back.

This place would be perfect for a getaway weekend etc and a place to make new friends. The shared professional kitchen was a delight to use.  Lots of space for all your activities. And a super friendly proprietor who couldn't be more helpful.

We booked this lodge for a private event for 22 people. Chris was fantastic, friendly, organised and great to deal with. The lodge was perfect for our meditation group and we enjoyed the space very much. There is plenty of space in the lodge and great views from upstairs. The 'star garden' is a great site for meditating and relaxing. Thanks Chris!
