I booked a room with 4 beds and they gave me a room with 10 beds. I spoke to the receptionist (a girl with glasses), who told me that on the second day I would have to go to another room because a group was coming. to which I replied that I wanted to enjoy what I paid for. and she was very disoriented and lost, she said that later she would talk to the manager.
the next day I received a message saying that my reservation had been cancelled.
I spoke to another receptionist, without any empathy and rudely replied that I had time to find another place, pointing to her watch. That they were full and I had to go.
When I asked for the complaints book, he told me that he didn't have it and that we were in the 21st century. I asked to speak with the manager, he replied that he was in the kitchen (as if I knew who he was and still had to go to to the kitchen just to talk to you). I went to work and no one was there. When I got back to reception, the manager was there, and we talked about everything again. And when I asked why nobody told me, they canceled my reservation and didn't even deign to send me a message, even if it was through the platform where I booked, booking. At any moment I heard an apology.
I asked if that was how they treated people and they just stared at me.

Worst experience ever!

Mold in showers, nasty bed mattresses, cold rooms, piece of window missing has been fixed with a piece of tape. Didn't get into rooms in time and they were dirty once we got in. Rude staff. Please just spend the extra buck to go litetally anywhere else. Oh and our window glass just fell off the frame and they made us pay for it aswell. Really really disappointed. And the description of the place is a lie it is nowhere near being modern in any way.

Any other place would be better

The showers are full of black mold, at some point there was only one working bathroom in the whole hostel. Unfriendly staff that is not willing to help with problems. The air in the room was terrible, and after couple of nights had to sleep with open window, since the air was not changing enough. In addition, there were still people in when we were checking in. Room was not cleaned when cheking in.

I have absolutely no complaints about this hostel.

I returned home today after a few days at Hostel Alur, and I want to give a huge shout out to Mario and the team for making my stay one to remember.

The hostel has a pretty chill vibe, but there are always people around if you want to go and find a party!

Very good hostel for solo travellers, and groups alike.

An awesome hostel and an awesome city!

Spent 3 nights in this hostel, it's very clean and very conveniently located near the main square i the old town. They serve a decent breakfast for 4€ and provide single, double and 4-bed rooms besides larger dormitories. 
Bathrooms are clean and all single showers with plenty of hot water.
Large common area and young staff, I would stay here again.

Very nice and clean hostel close to the main square

Nice walking distance to some nice restaurants which I went to kompressor that I was recommended by the nice staff member at the desk and I was recommended a nice market called balti Jaama Turg. All staff was very welcoming even as I was gettin bit typsy due to the nice selection of alcohol and defo recommend the chilli nuts. Comfortable beds. All in all would definitely recommend this hostel.

優點：
1）位置很好，徒步即可到觀光區，也有小超市。
2）感覺一整棟樓都是他們的住宿，所以其實有衛浴間。
3）員工友善、冰箱很大、床乾淨舒適。
1) the location is very good. Just few steps to the main tourist spots and there’s a small supermarket nearby. Very convenient.
2) looks like the whole building is theirs. So actually there are many showers and toilets to use.
3) friendly staffs, large fridge, clean & comfy bed.

缺點：
 1）房間裡有非常多人。一個門進去大蓋有3個大空間，應該有20人左右住在同一個房間。如果睡在最裡面的空間還好，睡在門口的要忍受20人左右進進出出很困擾。
2）要求員工事先刷卡扣款，一個堅持次不行，一個很幫忙的說可以。
1) there are SO many people in a “room”. Entrance is the same door but there are 3 spaces in the room, probably around 20 people. If you have a bed near the entrance door, it will surly be a rough night for you since 20 people has to go in and out...
2) I asked the staff to deduct my card before checkin, one staff say no to me firmly and the other staff helped me with the advanced payment.

不錯的青旅，徒步即可抵達景點

Situated in a large old building in Old Town, this hostel has had some renovation work, for example the bar area has been restored pretty well. However, the rest of the hostel is rundown, and given the scale and age of the building, you'd hope its full restoration is planned. The rooms were fairly clean, but the mattress was uncomfortable, the toilets were pretty smelly and the showers seemed to be breaking down alot. The staff are mostly okay, though the Aussie girl is a bit intense (chill!). As the title says, you get what you pay for, but the place needs some tlc. Great location, however.

They canceled my booking while whole Tallinn was fully booked (Rammstein consert). And claimed that was made by booking because my credit card didn't work. Booking customer service said it was made by property and my bank said there wasn't any charge attempt from my account

Worst customer service ever

Really nice hostel to stay in everyone working was really friendly and there is a really nice bar connected to the hostel. The rooms have quite a lot of people in so was quite a broken sleep, but overall a great stay!
