The room was simple, clean, and had a cottage like feel. The staff was very helpful during our stay. We loved how close it was to downtown Floyd and all the great local amenities. Couldn’t recommend this inn enough for people visiting Floyd in the near future.

Large, clean, and very comfortable room. Clean bathroom with tub and shower combo. Our room had 2 queen beds, a table and 2 chairs for dining, microwave, mini fridge w/freezer, and a coffee maker. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

I have stayed in one of the king suites with the jacuzzi tub twice now with my husband for a little local retreat. We visited Buffalo mountain brewery and McDaniel’s tavern which also was wonderful and right across the street. The rooms are always clean and they have add ons if you want rose petals or chocolate or sparkling cider. 
Highly recommend.

This was the best hotel we stayed at during our 10 day trek of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Their beds are comfortable plus you get 2 per room. Fridge, coffee maker and nice bathrooms. Can walk to Mickey G’s or ABC for beverages. I never did see the hot tub but we were only there one night and didn’t have time. The restaurant across the road only serves one sandwich and the rest of their menu is appetizers along with alcohol.

This place was really clean and nice. The proprietor was very nice. We needed towels and he was right on it. It's not 5 star, but for the cost it was a great deal. I would definitely stay again. There are several amenities that we didn't get to use because our stay was just one night.

I only stayed there one night, which was a Monday, and there wasn't much going on in Floyd. The room was fine; clean, and everything worked. Pleasant surroundings, and it was quiet. My interaction with the staff was minimal.

I really enjoyed this stay. They have a large deck to sit out on with comfortable furniture. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. They do not have ice but there is a family dollar within walking distance. 

We stayed here 2 nights, during the coronavirus pandemic.  The room, including the bathroom, was impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable, the heat worked well, and it was pretty quiet.  I would definitely call the decor rustic.  We liked it fine, but if you prefer sleek and modern, you should make another choice.  We appreciated the small table and chairs, along with the microwave and small refrigerator, since restaurants are still operating only on carry-out basis.  Check-in/check-out was carried out with no contact and that worked fine.  The staff was very attentive to questions before our arrival and responded quickly to email.  The room is very spacious.  My only complaint is that the bathroom sink basin/vanity is really tiny, especially if you are a high-maintenance person with a lot of beauty products or hair care needs, and because it is in the small bathroom, not outside of it, two people can't really get ready at the same time.  We usually stay in Christiansburg when we are visiting Floyd, which costs a whole lot less, but we really appreciated the convenience of being in Floyd.

It’s not fancy but the building is attractively rustic and fits the area well. Rooms are large and clean, albeit dated. Mickey G’s, an Italian restaurant almost across the street is surprisingly good while downtown Floyd is quirky and interesting, a few minutes away. All     in all, a very good budget choice if you  are passing through this scenic area. 

Our stay was during the Chantilly Bluegrass & BBQ Festival in May 2018. I found the room most importantly clean. Floyd, VA is a quaint town and the Lodge fit in perfectly. My stay was in the second-floor room 8. No odor of smoke was in the room. Outside each door, you will find chairs if you are so indulged to light one up. Spent my morning listening to the birds chirping outside. Trees surround the property. Secluded somewhat even though it's close to town. The Internet is slow but when in Floyd who cares? Would definitely stay here again & again. Simply charming accommodations. May not be best suited for the Ritz-Carlton folks.
