First and most importantly, I would love to thank the entire management and staff for all the effort they put into ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible,I showed up at the gate with no reservation or even communication and they found me space. The management and staff are some of the nicest people that I have ever met. 
It should be noted that the pictures do not do this place justice, its beautiful beyond words, the mini organic garden, the murals on the walls, the colorful pallet furniture, I could easily go on for days about this little haven of peace, happiness and serenity. 
Dont even get me started on how affordable this place is, its a definite steal. 
Once more, Thank you for making this Nyumba, my second home. 
You will see me (and mine) again.

WOOOOOOOOW!!!!!

Nyumba 591 is a nice spot, offering flexible accommodation in a fantastic location, about a 5 minute walk to the Kisimenti / Acacia Mall area. Although my stay was brief (2 nights), there are extended stay options if you'll be in Kampala longer-term. The room I slept in was small, clean, and comfortable. The shared bathroom was nice and clean, and the shower was incredible! One caution - if you're a tall person like me, definitely watch your head for low door frames and overhangs. Overall, a brilliant affordable option for visitors to Kampala.

Great option, well located

Me and my friend were looking for a cool and private spot to spend our last days in Kampala. Nyumba 591 offered us a good location, two rooms, for a very cheap price - so we stayed there for the remaining of our trip and it was a great pleasure. The location is great - close enough to Acacia area, and feels safe. I couldn't ask more for the rooms, it offered anything I needed, and the service was super great (thanks Enock!). Thinking about Uganda makes me want to come back.....I'll stop here ;)

Excellent choice

Great value, very central. A lovely stay. Btw, the place is looking much beter than in the pictures, which was a surprise. I think the owner should make better pictures. My Gf and I stay here for a couple o days before and after travelling the country at it was very good to be so central and close to "civilization" after some weeks in the bush.

Comfty in downtown Kampala

I stayed at Nyumba for three weeks while working in Kampala, at couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The staff was very forthcoming and helpful, and the owner was also quick to respond my questions. I stayed in the biggest apartment, with 4 bedrooms. There the kitchen included a fridge, microwave and a gas-stove, and also basic items like pots, pans, utensils, kettle etc. The living room had two sofas and a tv, and the bathroom had a hot water shower.

Its located just 5 minute walk from Kisementi, where you find Acacia Mall with a supermarked, restaurants, cafès etc. It is also possible to buy water, fruits and vegetables right outside the gate. 

I will definitely book again when I come back to Kampala, and would absolutely recommend this place for others to stay.
