A group of 8 stayed here for a weekend. Great customer service, rooms are decent, price is good, lovely breakfast! Quiet area. Close to bars and clubs, a few minutes walk to the promenade.

Would definitely recommend and will be back! 

Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Really feel like part of the family. If you're on a HEN or stag then get here!Dave and his wife and daughter will accommodate anything if they can. Bar stays open until last person is home. Really lovely family.  

Just had a weekend away with our 4year old Grandson,it was made all the better for staying at The Norwood, what a great place,so central perfect for visiting the tower would recommend it highly, Jeff and Lorraine made us very welcome and Breakfast was perfect. The room was comfortable and clean,pillows are often an issue when in hotels but not at The Norwood very plump and comfortable,cannot think of anything that lets it down would stay again and would tell everyone to give it a try.

I cannot speak too highly of this B&B, situated close to the Tower it is definitely the best place we have ever stayed whilst in Blackpool. The hotel is spotless and well worthy of it's 4 stars. Jeff and Lorraine were very welcoming and looked after us well.

The rooms are beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Fab breakfast with plenty of choice and a personal touch. 

I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely be back!

Stayed here recently and although the room was very small and basic it was clean and the beds were comfortable but just one pillow. 
The hotel is close to the town centre.
The breakfast was really good.
Friendly staff. 
The only complaint is the prices in the bar are a bit on the expensive side. Pubs in town are cheaper.
Would definitely stay again but not use the bar.

Best Place I have ever stayed whilst in Blackpool

Great place

Amazing HEN weekend.

We booked to stay here for 3 nights, but only lasted the 1.
It was late when we arrived due to traffic and the hotel owner Steve was pleasant enough.
We went to drop our luggage in our room and OMG.....what a dirty hole.
I will say the bedding was clean, but that's all I can say.
The room was full of holes in the walls plaster, the radiator didn't work, the window was full of black mould.
Then we entered the en suite....
I wanted to have a shower and get ready to go out for the evening 😩 😫 but there was no way I was getting barefoot into that bathroom...it was disgusting....I honestly wouldn't let a rat sleep in there.
We left the next morning.

Dirty.

Unfortunately I could not travel to the hotel due to an issue with one of my children. When I went to cancel the reservation a month in advance of the stay I was charged a rather hefty cancellation fee.

In this day and age where flexibility is required especially with young children concerned the hotel was extremely inflexible. When hotels the world over can be cancelled with a days notice free of charge I find the Norwood to be very dated in their cancellation policy. 

For the fee they charged me they will now not be able to re sell the room and will make a sizeable loss on the overall cost of the room for the week. Which is an interesting way to run the business in itself.

I would encourage anyone who may need any degree of flexibility to look elsewhere as this is not the place for you.

Based on other reviews here I am sure they are nice people, running a lovely establishment and my review is not to try and take away from that. I am just very disappointed by the customer service that I was afforded.
