Jeannie, the property manager was great! We loved her muffins and to opportunity to talk with other guests at morning coffee.

We had a pleasant stay for 2 nights. Staff is friendly and always asking if we need anything. I like that there's always freshly baked muffins served in the morning and boy oh boy the muffins were so delicious. It's a quaint, quiet and clean lodge and we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Estelle was wonderful. It was so quiet and great view of the mountain and the stars. Room was clean and the robes were super comfy. Muffins for breakfast were made fresh and my wife said were some of her favourite muffins shes had! Very homey.

Northland Lodge was an excellent place to stay while exploring Waterton Lakes National Park. You could walk to many of the trailheads from their accommodations, as well as area restaurants and shops. We enjoyed sitting in the cozy living room conversing with other guests about the trails they had taken. The morning breakfast was a great way to start our day and the homemade muffins were delicious. They offer a wonderful soup and salad dinner that's ready for you after a day of hiking. Our host, Stacy, was always willing to chat about our adventures and the wonderful area we were visiting.

Loved our stay in this lovely historic home.  Jeanne was so welcoming and warm and the homemade muffins and Saskatoon pie were delicious.  Quiet location and could here the waterfall from our bedroom window, quite lovely.  Very pleasant experience.

This is the perfect place if you want great access to hiking trails, falls and shopping. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and welcoming. Breakfast is a muffin and juice/coffee. We met some very nice folks staying there as well. House is 100 years old so it is very cozy and not a lot of room if you have a lot of luggage. We enjoyed our visit very much!

Our stay at Northland lodge was one of the highlights of the whole trip! The host is absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The lodge is well maintained, well run, and great location. And the homemade muffins in the morning are incredible!

Perfect place to stay when visiting Waterton National Park .You can walk to a waterfall and hear it from the lodge. Within a 3-4 minute drive to the Waterton small town that has all the restaurants and shops and bike rentals. Fresh baked muffins and delicious coffee served in the morning. A great place to stay.

This is a great B & B. Our room was comfortable and our host was exceptional. She made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in. We had fresh baked muffins every morning and their yummy Saskatoon pie twice! It is conveniently located close to town but not right in the middle of town making it quiet and relaxing. It is inside Waterton National Park making it easy to visit different places in the park.

Lovely old property with a lot of interesting history located in a quiet area.Easy access to walking or bicycling into the village, the lake or Cameron Falls.Small cosy room but still adequate & was clean & comfortable.Nice outside sitting areas.Delicious muffins for breakfast.Enjoyed our 2 night stay.Thank you Stacey!

A great B and B

Jeanne was a wonderful and inviting host. The property is a quiet B and B close to town but not in town. Her fresh baked muffins every morning were wonderful as was the Saskatoon pie!!Jeanne was very welcoming and accommodating and made us feel at home. We would recommend this B and. B to anyone visiting Waterton

We really enjoyed our experience at the Northland lodge. This is certainly only a place to stay at if you know what you are getting into however - You get a smaller room, with only the basics in there, and the place is pretty much a hostel where privacy is really never to be expected. However, if you are going to Waterton with the idea of going out and about and never really sticking around, this place is perfect! If you love chatting to strangers about their plans for the day while enjoying great warm homemade muffins, this is your place! 

Regardless, me and my partner loved our stay here. It was cozy, close to the Falls in town, and for us, we just walked to the townsite for food and whatnot, and left the car in their back lot!

We enjoyed the upper deck for reading, the front chairs for reading, the stars were amazing to see at night, and the table in our room got used for plenty of cribbage!

Despite being a bit more on the "Non-private" side, we had our own shower and bathroom, and it was mostly quiet when we were in our room. The blinds are great, and honestly when in our room it was perfect for a couple on an anniversary trip as we were.

Fabulous Trip Location - as long as you understand what this place is!

Very nice location (only steps away from waterfall and from a few easy hiking trails), very nice atmosphere. The lodge is an older building, but nicely kept and updated, intimate enough so that you can have conversations with other guests, if you wish to, when having the morning coffee in the common area.

A Super Pleasant Stay In Waterton Lakes National Park

Our stay was awesome! We stayed in the cowboy room around the back of the lodge on the ground floor. The room is on the smaller side but had everything we needed ( queen bed, bathroom, small fridge and fan). Our favorite part about staying here was the fresh muffins and jam every morning (also served tea and coffee) and that the lodge is a 5-10 min walk from the downtown, could not ask for a better location. It is also in walking distance to quite a few trails/hikes and water falls, so convenient! We could even hear the Cameron falls from our room. So happy we stayed at the Northland Lodge.
