$60 per night....too pricey for what you get. $15-$20 per night would be more reasonable given Tongans live on $6-$7 per day ($200 per month)...US dollars. Extra charge for WiFi per 2 hours, extra charge for use of washer. Felt nickeled and dimed to death during stay. Guests smoke right in front of their rooms so if you're allergic to cigarette smoke, be aware that the smoke goes into your room since the doors are not caulked. Walls are thin so you will hear lots of noise. A plus is Selu's assistant was very helpful and cleaning staff were very nice.

Too pricey

Stayed here when I was whale diving. 

The guesthouse is perfect for backpackers and couples. Dormitory and spacious rooms. Very sociable and friendly environment.

Ideally placed and close to the centre of town.

Elijah and the rest of the staff go above and beyond in terms of helping guests with transport and ensuring safety. I had a laptop, drone and lots of electronics with me, they were very secure in my room.

Great hotel

One of my absolute favorite places I’ve stayed in my around the world travels. I met some of the most amazing people at this guesthouse. From the staff to the other guests to the neighbors nearby. It truly felt like a big family reunion. Excellent energy & vibes.
Eliza & Langi are so upbeat and positive. Happy music, singing, meaningful conversations. 
I’d go so far as to say it’s life changing to stay here. 
Excellent location (walk easily to town), safe, sense of community, meet fellow like minded travelers, helpful, comfortable, and clean. Had many a happy group breakfast & dinner in the kitchen (great facilities). Wonderful porch to sit on.
I’m grateful for this place, the people who work there, and the fellow intrepid travelers who stay there.

We made a big mistake booking with this hotel. The hotel was dirty and dingy and the bathrooms were disgusting with broken toilets and showers that were either scalding hot or cold, no inbetween. The room had a shared balcony that had fresh cat vomit (we think) that was never cleaned up the three days we were with them and attracted ants right outside the door that we had to keep open because there was no air conditioning. We stayed with them for three nights when we first came to the main island and had an additional booking for the next week when we came back. We came back to check in to find they had over booked and we didn't have the room we were supposed to have so they graciously put us in a nicer room, only to be woken up the next morning with them telling us that they had someone else wanting to book the nicer room so we had to pack all of our stuff and move to another room! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will NEVER book with this hotel again. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more to upgrade and stay away from Noa Guest House, I know I will.

BIG mistake!

We suggested some changes to be made.  Our room was the Family which was queen and twin bed, refrigerator and private bathroom.  The room was bit dirty but they offered to freshen it up but I did with my disinfectant. The refrigerator was dirty and smelly but they cleaned it and offered a new room but by this time I had freshen the room.  We suggested they leave the doors on frg  open when off.  
Cleaning crew really needs to step up their cleaning and move and dust.  I even found a fake eyelashes on the wood of the bed. My husband found water bottle under bed. Stuff left in dressers. The group refrigerator needs cleaning once a week.  I trashed lots of stuff spoiled in it and we didn’t even use it. 
You can do laundry, rent a car and cook your own meals but limited good cooking equipment.  Should check where dishes are as cockroaches which I found a few of those dead and live which is normal on islands. 
We did enjoy the stay and met lots of interesting backpackers. 
They are all very nice crew but need cleaning improvements.  

Inexpensive place to stay

I like noa the best, hopefully they will do more decorate for all the room and everything... But I like their way and how the house keeping and all the workers over there treat us in a lovely way... .

Visit to Tonga & stay at Noa

It was hard to get staff to do anything.  Run down and not really cleaned well.  Other visitors were interesting to talk to.  They did rent cars there which was handy.  Not really near a beach.  Did feel safe.  Were told they had WIFI and when asked why I could not get on, told it wasn't working.
