Ngorongoro Wild Camps

We had 2 lovely days at Ngorongoro Wild Camp in August 2025. We arrived at around 5 pm after a long drive from Serengeti and found Beka and team waiting for us. We were shown to our room, a raised tent cabin overlooking Lake Eyasi and with some of the most stunning views of the Rift Valley I have ever seen. It gets quite windy in the evenings, so the bonfire at the main building was a great relief, Sam also helped us put down the side drapes to keep off the gusts. We were happy with the comfortable King-sized bed, clean bathroom with a hot shower and flush toilet. The food was really good, and we ate to our fill from the buffet as it had lots of dishes to choose from. Beka was attentive as he did his rounds at the restaurant, chatting up the guests and making sure they were happy with the food.......they surprised me with birthday cake and a song with the Chef, waiters clanging the pots and belting a happy birthday song for me. We really enjoyed our stay, and I would urge those looking for a holiday serene and lovely location with incredible sunrises and excellent service to look no further.
