I'm sorry about my disappointed angle view, but I don't see too much positive things to tell...1. bathroom was horrible - a little box (a container) made in room that was an old office  I think (i don't know what was this building in the past like 1900), bathroom with a very louder ventilation2. The entrance door (in the room) from our triple, was an old wood who was shaking because is composed by two narrow doors, only one door can be opened and you have to struggle  to pass with bigger luggage than a cabin bag (I know because I tried large one to pass...)3. There is no ramp on which you can drag your luggage on wheels, you must lift up an carry on your hand for 1 level, where is a small elevator for 1 person with 1 luggage, so is not friendly for tourists with large land heavy luggage's.4. Breakfast was very poor - boiled eggs, slices of ham (feeling sticky... dint finished one slice to eat), no cake (like in picture's presentation), slices of cheese, some little pancakes, tomatoes, marmalade, butter and few other unimportant thinks. of course was coffee, juice, milk, tea and water.Again sorry for my review but I did not expected this low level, eve for 3 stars. I give maximum 2 stars in my opinion.

Disappointed, but was only for 1 night :)

We slept here for one night only. We immediately put our stuff in our room and went sightseeing. We had a quick look at the room which did not make a good impression. The bathroom was very small and was dirty, meanwhile the bedroom area was average. This is the smallest bathroom I have ever seen!!!

We quickly left and did not have the chance to talk with the staff to express our complaints. We had another look at our booking and noticed that the bathroom pictures in the website are completely different from the one we had. They have different types of bathrooms for different rooms but none of them were either that small or that ugly. They are clearly trying to scam people. You book something but then end up with something completely different.

We came to the room and my boyfriend went to raise the issue of the bathroom. First they told him that “oh after 7 hours u come to complain “ as if we were in the hotel the whole time. Moreover when we raised the issue of the online pictures being misleading and that we will upload the pictures of the bathroom online for other people to see the guy got super angry. His answer was “ I will ban you from booking and I hope you have a good lawyer “.  This is crazy considering 1. They are wrong because they are lying on their website  2. Thinking they have such authority and that I will shut up if say they will ban me 3. Threatening seems something they have mastered through time since the guy seemed so confident. It seems that people before were also treated like us. 

The next morning we left our room and had to hand in our card. When we went to the service desk the guy did not say a single word, either good morning or good bye. While we were talking he even ignored looking at us. This was funny and ugly at the same time, so I told him that its not okay to behave like this with your guests, to which he responded “what do you mean” and we just left. 

We did not pay an extraordinary amount to stay in this hotel, but it is definitely not of the standard that it claims to have. There is no parking at all in these streets and the hotel only has 2 parking spaces. Moreover you have to take stairs to the elevator (??), one of the people helped us when we came with one of our suitcases but when we left they did not of course because they considered us the “bad” people since we simply raised the issue that we felt deceived.

I slept terribly in this place, both because of the stress that the service desk guy caused me but also because I was afraid something would happen to our car during the night. I would NEVER stay in this hotel ever again and I would advise no one to else to.

Scam

Perfect location, great choice considering room cost. Loved the coffee machine in the lobby. Could pay attention to start time of house cleaning services though. Overall loved the experience and wouls definitely stay there again.

Great location and our room was clean and as described. Appreciated the quick responses to our questions in advance of our arrival. Would stay again.

The staff was incredibly nice to the breakfast to the front desk. They couldn’t have been more helpful thank you!

Great accommodation and service

The staff was very kind friendly and helpful the facility is very clean and location was very good

I spent three days in this hotel for the sole reason that it is very centrally situated. The staff was over-friendly and over-helpful. I did not like it that to reach the elevator you had to go up a staircase first and the room was rather small, though very clean. Breakfast was very simple.

Pleasant stay at Nea Metropolis hotel

Extremely kind staff, cleaning was done every day, quiet, easy to reach, close to the most important historical landmarks and close to the sea. And very cheap.
