This is a wonderful place to stay and for Safari tours in the Bardiya Natinalpark. The family, Madhu, Anita and Shirsana, is lovely and super helpful. Even if you come or leave in the middle of the night they are ready for you. I stayed there for 5 days and felt part of the family. I would have loved to stay longer. We did 3 days of safari with 1 night in a jungle camp. Everything was very wel organiced!

my girlfriend and I had a really nice time at Madhu’s homestay. we came to experience the real wildlife and see some animals in their natural habitat. Therefore Bardia national park was the best choice! 

Madhu’s Resort is really a quiet, calm and green place to recover after our long mountain trek. The rooms are very clean, the bed is very comfortable and we had the opportunity to take a nice hot shower. we also did some yoga in his garden and just watched the sun goes down. the food was outstanding, with ingredients that grows in his garden. Madhu’s wife Anita is a very excellent cook. she always switched the dishes and asked us every day if we have special wishes.

we did also some jungle walks and jeep safaris. Madhu and the Guide Ram are very experienced to find animals. Ram have perfect senses to detect noises and animal movements we never would recognize. he knows also very much about the animals and their behavior. 

overall we can 100% recommend this experience with Madhu, his nice family and Ram. 
We also want to come back in the future!

It is an excellent option to visit the Bardia National Park. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, the food served in the lodge is abundant and tasty and the place is very quiet.

The options to visit and make safaris in the national park are varied and the owners make every effort to locate and spot animals. In my case we could not see a tiger, so I will try again with them the next time I return to Nepal, but we did see a magnificent leopard, an animal harder to see because there are fewer specimens. We also saw rhinos during the safaris, as well as crocodiles, deers and others.

The owners of the resort are very friendly and can organize everything related to the transfer to the national park, both from Kathmandu and other cities in Nepal and from various cities in India, such as Agra, Delhi, Varanasi, etc., where they can organize your collection and Subsequent transfer to the park, including stops and nights along the way if the client wants to visit any of those cities. Traveling by road from India takes less time than from Kathmandu, so it is a good idea to go to Bardia from India. You just have to tell them where and when you want to be picked up and if you want to stop somewhere before going to Bardia and they are in charge of organizing everything. They can also take care of organizing the following stages of your trip.

In short, was a really nice days that I hope to repeat the next time I travel there.

I stayed couple of days at Nature Safari lodge.
It is a lovely guest house at the border of the national park:
Eco friendly with PV, thermal solar, refillable water, organic farming and food.
The team is great, helpful, attentionate and one of the most competent in term of safari.
All kinds of safari adapted to everybody, by raft, walking, by jeep, at night. And we were lucky enough to see plenty of animals.

It offers good prices and I can highly recommend it !

we were at this Lodge after our Annapurna TREk.It was nice & relaxing.The host mr.Madhu organized our jungle activities.He was really nice guy.Srijana at the front desk was friendly & helpful.The service they provide us was just superb.Thanks guys & see you again soon.

First of all, we highly recommended Bardia for the true jungle lovers. Than Nature Safari Resort was the perfect place to stay in. The staff is professional and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the food delicious and I fall in love with their beautiful garden! Good place to read a book and chill. The guides make you fell very confort and safe at the jungle and are very knowledgeable and passionate about their work :)
A prove of that is we saw the tiger 30 minutes after entering the park for the first time.

The resort is very good. The owner is very friendly and he can help you for everything. Close the resort is possible take a swim with buffalos and the entrance to the national park is very near. Good place to be two three days relaxing in the nature.

The room was good, clean and the bed we had was very confortable ! The resort and his garden are lovely, this is a peacefull place. The food was also very good. In terms of accomodation, Nature Safari Lodge is great ! The owner went to pick us up at the bus station at 4 AM, friendly and arranging.

For the safaris, we did 2 jungle walks and 1 jeep safari. The first 2 days, we were not so lucky... the third one was the good one :) 
In 3 days, we saw crocodiles, rhinos, otters, deers, monkeys, kingfishers, eagles but no tigers. The first two days, we were a little too focused on the tigers and forgot a bit to enjoy the simple and amazing fact of being in the jungle !

So, an advice, just go there to enjoy and try not to focus only on tigers, the experience will be better for you and if you have the luck to see them, good for you ! :)
