Our room was lovely - large, very comfortable and full of light. All the staff were friendly though some had limited English even though most of the guests were English speaking. We stayed 4 nights but the menu in the restaurant was varied enough that we never struggled to find something delicious to eat. The food and service were excellent and the sommelier was truly exceptional.

Lovely hotel and restaurant

Beautiful but not pretentious, relaxed but attentive. A welcome chilled wine on arrival, amazing facilities, food and rest! Enjoyed wine tasting, a boat trip, cycling around the vineyard and unwinding by the pool. A treat and worth it! The sommelier really knew her stuff and was passionate about the whole region. Eating mostly food produced on the estate or next door was enjoyable.

A hidden paradise

This place was just brilliant. Lovely staff, fabulous accommodation, restaurant just great………we just cannot fault it…..only here for 2 nights but could have stayed much longer. Thank you to all of you at Narbona for making our stay so enjoyable.

Just great!

Where to start? The warm welcome, accompanied by a glass of wine was a wonderful prelude for what was to come. As the door swung open to our suite, Rose, we marveled at the size and embraced the luxury. A huge bed, a stunning bathroom, views over vineyards for the perfect sunset and, a first for us, complimentary ponchos. The estate is extensive and beautiful, superbly appointed. It seems nowhere is off limits. We were told to treat it as our home. If you ever bored, unlikely, of the room and it's spacious verandah, the residents lounge offered comfort and grappa! A special place for a special trip!

Unique and amazing place and infrastructure. 
Outstanding hospitality (remarkable people and service levels), highlighting Juliana, Mauricio, Cecilia, Feliza, Elizabeth, Diana, Rosse and Valeria . And, also, Picnic / Maridaje/ Special Dinner activities. 
We strongly recommend Narbona Wine Lodge.

We had a super delicious lunch here and found the winery to be super charming and relaxing! The Toto barbecue was done to perfection and the spinach raviolis were the lightest I have ever tried. The empanadas were quite good as well. Highly recommend this restaurant! 

Delicious and Tranquil Lunch!

Wonderful in every way possible. Beautiful lay out, fantastic room, very good restaurant, incredible attention to detail and the friendliest staff. What is not to love about Narbona Wine Lodge! We would recommend staying here to anybody visiting Uruguay.

Narbona is wonderful. My wife and I stayed here for four days on our honeymoon and the stay was close to perfect. The setting, building and the room (particularly our view of the sunset over the vineyard) were all above our expectations and made it a trip never to forget. Moreover, the staff at Norbona from the hotel managers to the sommelier to the chef to the waitresses and the cleaners were extremely attentive, competent and made our stay the best it could be. The food at the Narbona’s restaurant is as good as we have had anywhere in South America. One thing to note, it’s not cheap to get a taxi around the local area so if you do want to explore the area maybe it’s best to rent a car but when the sun was shining we found little reason to want to leave. Would 100% come back if in Uruguay again :)

Amazing

I'm very happy to have lived and gone through Narbona's experience. The 
peaceful and the place so well decorated, makes you feel at home. I strongly emphasize the exceptional work of Natalia, who helped me at all times before, during and after my stay. I hope to return soon and enjoy this magical place once again

Lovely

Located close to the Argentinian border, surrounded by vineyards where you can have nice walks or bike rides. These walks are very nice and relaxing.

The hotel has only five rooms so it is really a small charming place. There is the main house with reception, a nice cozy room with fireplace where you can have drinks, the annex with some rooms and the pool area with a very small gym. It is a pity the pool is not heated, but it is still a nice place to relax and read on a sunny day.

The restaurant is 2 minutes walk away from the hotel and is also open for non hotel guests. The breakfast is very good, they have excellent yogurt and milk. Very good orange juice and coffee. Dinner is also good. There is also a shop where you can buy wine and other products.

Rooms are large and very charming. The bathroom is very big, the room has nice seating area. Unfortunately there is no desk. Overall very nice rooms.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I really appreciate their kindness.

Definitely a great place to spend some quiet days. Not the most luxurious hotel but definitely one of the most charming. Highly recommended.
