Meroddi Galata Mansion

This hotel is in an excellent location, just a 2 minute walk from Galata Tower and a 5 minute walk from Istiklal Street. It’s also very convenient, with easy access to the metro and tram stations. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with efficient heating and even a hair dryer. We were impressed by the daily bottle of water and the room's overall cleanliness (towels were changed every day). The breakfast exceeded our expectations, offering a wide variety of both sweet and savory options. We booked the package with breakfast, but there's also an option for lunch and dinner via room service at an extra charge. On our last day, they even provided a lunch box since we had an early flight and couldn’t have breakfast. The hotel also offers additional services like airport transfers and a Hamam experience at extra cost. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any request. A special thanks to Bedirhan for his help with check-in and recommending places to visit, to Zehra for booking our departure transfer smoothly, and to Ufuk for his friendly assistance with check-out. Room for improvement: The rooms were not very soundproof. However, this did not cause any problem during our stay. There was no lift which makes it harder to carry luggage. Stairs have no handrail. We can’t recommend this place enough—it’s worth every penny!
