Hotel Naias

Located in the upper part of Livadi we found just a room maid, when arriving there after asking around, but she gave us a phone number, so we could call Dimitra, the owner, who immediately came to the hotel. The very friendly lady gave us a room on the first floor with superb views from the balcony over Livadi bay and up to the mountains with the Chora. As we saw from the setup only a few rooms have this possibility, since many are facing the backside. The room had a single and a double bed, a desk, but no tea and coffee making facilities. Instead Dimitra brought us coffee, fruits and cakes, on other days a bottle of wine. The fridge in the room was tiny and it wouldn't hold a big bottle of water. There was enough space, but the mattress of the bed was on the hard side, also the bathroom with a good shower had some old fashioned plumbing. From the hotel there was easy access to restaurants, to the bus stop, to the ferry and also - in the other direction - to Livadaki Beach for a swim. As Mrs Dimitra told me, the hotel is open all year round.
