We have just really enjoyed 4 nights  in  the centre of Camlihemsun, a mountain town, which unlike Ayder, has not been spoilt by tourism. Puli Mini Otel is a unique timber property in the high street but with a terrace and restaurant overlooking the river. The  hotel  has been lovingly restored by the owner with passion and style. You immediately feel that you are in a home.  We are a grown up family of 4 and all foodies. The food was spectacular - a different menu every day of totally fresh, home-cooked food. This type of food can only be produced with love.  Probably the memory that I will take away with me is the hospitality and welcome we received. Oznur, the owner and Gulfen, a talented designer, were kind, generous and fun.   Thank you both

My partner and I had a fantastic time at Puli Mini Hotel.  We were visiting from the United States to take day hikes in the Kackar mountains.  The hotel is very cute (similar almost to a typical bed and breakfast in the US) and very tastefully decorated.  The owner and staff are exceptionally nice and welcoming and provided really good advice as to where to go in the nearby area.  It was exactly what we had hoped for.  

The food is also excellent.  We were served a delicious full turkish breakfast each morning.  They also offer home-style dinners upon request and we ended up eating dinner there each night.  The hotel also comes with two adorable and friendly cats.

The owner/staff were also very generous with their time.  They helped us with parking on a number occasions, which can be difficult given the narrow roads, and helped us with laundry.

If we end up making the trip back to Camlihemsin we will be sure to be back!

Amazing boutique hotel, lovely interior design and very cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was outstanding especially the original black sea dish called muhlama. and they have a cute little cat waiting to be pet. The owners were really friendly with us showing us around during our stay.

We went to Puli Mini hotel with the recommendation of a friend and we were very satisfied. Being in an easily accessible location, having markets and restaurants around was a great advantage. We took the hotel as the center and went to the highlands easily. We parked our car in the back street, under the hotel. We were also happy to stay in a place suitable for the region, where the entrance and basement floors are stone and the upper bedroom floors are wooden, tastefully furnished with antiques. We woke up with the view of Fırtına River in small but functional rooms. The shower-toilet was a bit small and separated from the room by a divider panel, as they were rooms converted from an existing house. Once you got used to it, it wasn't a problem. The nicely and tastefully prepared breakfast each morning and dinner on the last night were also very nice. We would like to thank Ms. Öznur, Ms. Gülfem and our assistant lady who hosted us very warmly throughout the entire trip and gave a lot of help in creating our travel route. Hope to see you again.

I travelled to the Black Sea for the first time and Oznur was so helpful from the beginning. The hotel is picture perfect and decorated in an antique, style that is beautiful and also for photos. It is decorated with such detail and it feels like 'home.' I wasn't sure about the area so asked to have most meals at the hotel. Each meal was delicious and presented stylishly. I ate like a king!!! Bedrooms are comfortable and warm and cosy with amazing views from the hotel but also from bed. Oznur has made this a unique, wonderful place to come, feel like it is your home and enjoy how beautiful Camlihemsin is. Oznur also arranged a private tour which I chose which one I wanted to see. Everything provided and more. Thank you to Oznur, Gulfen and the team. An extraordinary place to stay and also only known to locals but a real treasure for the area. If you want a little more then the usual you have to stay here. Oznur is a wonderful host and I will definitely return with friends next time. They will open a shop soon and Rize airport will open soon which means a closer transit. My stay was perfect. I just wish it could have been longer.

We had such an amazing stay here; the rooms have an amazing view of the lush green and river next to hotel and have a very natural and mentally relaxing wooden decor ambiance. The lobby has a really well executed vintage style, plus they make really good coffee and play very good music, leading to us just chilling in the lounge areas for most part of our days.
Last, but definitely not least, the homemade food (we had both breakfast and dinner there every day) is of the highest quality and taste; we were looking forward to it every day!

We had an amazing time on our trip to Camlihemsin, entirely because of our decision to stay al Puli Mini Hotel. Since it was winter season we couldn’t really move around to experience the nature, we still decided to add another day to our stay since the atmosphere and the owner of the hotel was amazing. 

Rooms have a unique style that makes the stay an experience of its own, we really enjoyed the texture of the building and everything, bed was really comfy and the building feels like it’s breathing so we slept really well. The breakfast was so good we decided to try out the dinner they were serving. It was one of the best meals we had. They don’t have a menu or anything, they just serve whatever is fresh during the season you are visiting which is amazing on its own. 

Overall it was great, we loved the food, drinks, building, decorations, views and most importantly the owner and the time we spent there. Definitely will be staying there again, as soon as possible :)

I really enjoyed my stay in a nice cosy room by the river. The two ladies owners did their best to accommodate my needs, serving delicious food in a very relaxed atmosphere. The highlights : an amazing decor filled with antiques and great (mostly soul) music always playing in the background. A must, thank you girls!

This is a very small--six rooms--hotel on the main street in Camlihemsin.  The rooms are small but have a lot of character and atmosphere.  The bathroom situation is a bit tight, but the sound of the river is wonderful.  The main public area downstairs is charming and makes  you feel right at home--the owner Qznur is a gem.  The decor is in great taste and refined, and there is usually great old school Turkish music playing on a real turntable! We met some interesting people staying there and really enjoyed some very good food prepared with great care. There are cool spots around to explore and the water and air are clean and invigorating.  Overall a really good spot, and know that if you go Oznur will convey to you real caring and kindness--brava!!

Stayed there for 3 nights and will definitely choose Puli Mini again for our next visit. We had a clean, cosy room facing the river and the entire place is decorated with alot of character. No problems with hot water shower. We felt so comfortable at Puli Mini that we spent 2 out of 3 days relaxing within the hotel. 

We reserved dinner at the hotel and it was fabulous! Great spread, delicious food, even their cakes and bread were baked in-house. Oznur took really good care of us. She arranged our airport transfer/day trip with trusted contacts who were very friendly too. Highly recommended!

Cosy hotel with alot of character! 

Puli Mini Otel is a boutique hotel - small in size, but brimming with character and rustic charm.  Located beside a rushing river in the heart of Camlihemsin, it's a great base for exploring the beautiful valleys and highlands of the region.  Owner/manager Oznur and her staff were warm and welcoming, ensuring we were well-accommodated throughout our stay.  Oznur helped us plan our time in the area, giving us tips on where to go and what to see.  After a day of sight-seeing or hiking, the lovely lobby, dining room or riverside terrace were great places to relax and enjoy a beverage from the well-stocked bar before dinner.  The breakfasts and dinners we had were bountiful and delicious, carefully prepared to show off the local cuisine.  Our room was very comfortable and clean, with the sound of the river to lull us to sleep.  Owner/manager Oznur and her staff made us feel like family!  Hoping we can return in the future!
