MOSC Guesthouse

Location near center of the funny quartier of Itaewon and 200mt to the subway station, cleaning room, you can used the kitchen and quiet, and the owner was very friendly
Is good choice for visiting Seoul, 

I was pleasantly surprised by Mosc. My previous 2 guesthouse experiences were not very good, so I was a bit nervous about this one. But I was totally impressed, it was very roomy, nicely furnished and decorated, very clean, had an awesome common area and was very close & convenient to plenty of restaurants, bars and the subway. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Good price for a place located 5 minutes from itaewon station. Very clean and new. Simple breakfast included with towels and toiletries. Only complaint was that it was just a padlock to lock the door on our room, all others had a door code lock though.

Stayed at MOSC for a week attending a conference nearby. MOSC is located in the nightlife centre part of the town and a short walking distance to the Itaewon Subway station. Very convenient for food and drinks and getting around. Thought the guesthouse is so close to the party scene it is surprisingly quiet at night (even on the weekends). 

I stayed in the double room. The room itself is basic with a private bathroom. Not a big space but that's all you will need when you travel/conference most the day and basically use the place to sleep. it was definitely enough for me. The guesthouse has a share living space including a lounge area, kitchen and a small outdoor area. It's really like you come to visit Seoul and stay at a friend's place. 

The host MJ is exactly that, a friend that is helpful, approachable, and take good care of his guests. The 9 nights I stayed there MJ did my laundry for me while I was out attending conference. MJ speaks excellent English and was very helpful with questions re places to visit, to shop such and such. 

If you are looking for an affordable places to stay in the heart of all action and don't mind it being a bit basic but warm and friendly then MOSC is definitely for you. If you are looking for a hotel that does room service and house keeping then you should look elsewhere. Personally I'd definitely recommend MOSC to my mates.

I stayed at the guesthouse with my spouse and 2 teenage daughters. There was a miscommunication over the booking of room but Mr Ha Manjong immediately apologised and took steps to remedy the situation. He made sure we were all as comfortable as we could be. We ended up with a common toilet outside the room but it was just a matter of adjusting. The guesthouse has a modern and chic look and feel to it. The toilet and shower is clean. It feels like you are at home in your own toilet/shower. There was a dining area where we could have our meals (when we did not with to dine out anymore) and it is a cosy and comfortable area which my daughters ended up each evening for them to wind down. My spouse and I also joined our daughters there and we were talking and laughing well into the night. Mr Ha also assisted us with some laundry and he refused to take any payment for it. It might have been his way to make up for the miscommunication over the room. All in all it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely come back to stay again at MOSC Guesthouse. The area is definitely near to the Halal eating establishments in Itaewon area. Definitely recommended! Thanks Mr Ha for your accommodating hospitality.

It doesn't exist anymore!!! Don't book this hotel!! It will allow you to book and take your money but it doesn't exist, doors are locked and front of hotel is now a restaurant!!! Seriously I don't know why it still accepts bookings
