This place one of most famouse place in Mongolia, near to Mongolian capital city Ulaanbaatar. 
There are a lot of local and foreign tourists. There you can spend time on the sand and ride on horses and camels.

Elsen tasarhai of Mongolia

I rented an apartment for 18 days, during June. The property owner is very helpful and prompt in service. The gentleman who picks you up from the airport (with additional cost), is superb. The apartment has very basic, but useful utensils. The doors of the bathroom and curtains may need some maintenance, otherwise the apartment is cozy and well located. The building, from outside looks like typical Russian colony, but once you are inside the apartment, it is safe and very private. During summer, I would like to see a fan in each room, because the day we left was one of the hottest during our total stay, and without a fan, it was unbearable. I am sure, if you bring this to the owner's notice, she could take care of this.

Budget stay near the center of UB

We stayed for a couple of nights in a double room, which was basic, but clean, huge double bed, TV. There is a kitchen, shared bathroom, toilet. The owner offers arranging for a pick up from the train station. Laundry service available. The location is great, close to the state department stores, some of the landmarks, 'Luna Blanca' restaurant (which I recommend!:). On our first day we received a tourist map of the city and the owner told us some travelling tips. Very helpful. 

Great basic accomodation

We booked this guest house for our first night in Mongolia. We had communicated with Eiggy (the owner) by email and she had promised to arrange transportation to the guesthouse from the airport. On arrival at the airport, our taxi driver was on time and transferred us to the guesthouse. The guesthouse is located behind and to the left of the State Department Store. it is painted cream, and has a grey metal door for the entrance. A code is required for entry, and will be provided by Eiggy. There is a brown wooden sign with "Horseback Mongoli" in cream above the door. We had to walk up four flights of stairs to get to the room. The Guesthouse is in a building where locals also live, so is not the typical guesthouse.

We had originally booked a shared sleeping area with shared bathroom, so expected to share with other guests. We were surprised that Eiggy had given us a free upgrade to a large apartment upstairs which could comfortably sleep four persons, and had a private shower and kitchen. The shower was really small but otherwise the apartment was secure and comfortable. It is ideally located in Ulanbator, and is walking distance from quite a few attractions and souvenir stores. We asked Eiggy to help us with our laundry the following day. Guests are not allowed to use the washing machine, and there is no dryer, but the clothes may be hung on a line outside the window. There was a small charge for the laundry.There is also free wifi.

We bought souvenirs at the shops nearby, and as we were travelling to different parts of Mongolia, Eiggy agreed to keep them for a few weeks. This was very convenient, and we were able to keep in touch with Eiggy by email and phone. It will not be the best accommodation in Ulanbator, but the service provided by the manager is excellent, and I would stay here again if a private room was available.

simple accommodation, really helpful owner

Heads up!   I am traveling to Ulanbaatar soon and came across this wonderful sounding place.   A friend in Ulanbaatar checked it out and reported that the photos shown on the web site are for a permanently rented apartment and NOT what you will get if you reserve space with them.  Other than that, I can't say.   I think it is deceiving to show photos that are NOT what is available.
