I see there are occasional mixed reviews for this place so I will try to be as helpful as possible. These rooms/appartements have very cool, quirky decor if you like the generic hotel/travel lodge look then this place is not for you but as there are lots of photos of the rooms I don’t understand why people have booked then complained about it??? The decor is cool and no expense has been spared giving you quality items in your room. We had two beautiful leather armchairs with over hanging lamp, big balcony, modern kitchen area with tea/coffee facilities, dining table, radio, flat screen tv (no English channels though), decent size ensuite with big walk in shower. Bed is big and comfy, cool bedding, clean towels etc. There is a further shared large terraced area with views over the town (not particularly pretty views but is cool when lit up at night) and a lovely pool with sun area. Yes there is a buffet breakfast, toast, croissants, pain au chocolate, bread, yoghurts, cereals, cakes, fabulous muffins etc. and yes everything is put away after breakfast and not left out like someone said?? Also there was no need to wash up so don’t know what that person was on about?? We stayed for 4 days and everything was extremely clean and fresh. There is a large free (24hrs) carpark just before the place which is very secure. The main shopping mall is 2 mins walk away. It was a little confusing to find at first, there’s just a steep alleyway/drive with a sign on the wall. You can’t drive down it so don’t try! Walk into the courtyard and they’ll be a sign on one of the doors to knock and get keys (usually between 5-9pm) otherwise contact Céline to arrive at another time. Céline is a lovely host and very helpful. Have already booked for next year!
