563 reviewsI booked a sweet sleeper OG Queen bed room for 2 nights. The location was excellent. Parking was available on site so we left our car there and walked to the shops, restaurants and around the water via the various pathways. The room (number 207) was lovely - very clean and fresh after obviously a recent renovation. A little kitchenette with microwave, kettle, glasses and crockery/cutlery settings for 2 which suited us as we were self catering while on a road trip. Also a table/chairs for 2. The bed was very comfortable with adequate lighting around and the bathroom was clean, although a little small. Sliding doors onto a balcony faced the afternoon sun but the air-con kept the room cool along with heavy sunblock curtains. It appeared to me that some thought had gone into the needs of travellers, when doing the refurb, as everything we required for our stay was available. Ian and Donna were very friendly and made us welcome. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Port Macquarie.
