Hotel Ami Budva Petrovac 

The hotel is immaculate and highly professional. We were greeted by a doorman and a glass of cold juice. Check in was efficient and the reception team are friendly. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and thoughtfully equipped. We had 2 standard rooms with balconies and could see the sea. We were on a bed and breakfast board. Breakfast was very good-the only thing I wouId change would be the fruit juice. It’s basically strong squash out of a machine and I do appreciate my freshly squeezed juice in the morning! We didn’t spend any time at the pool as it’s not set up for sunbathing. A few loungers and deckchairs and a lot of little ones splashing around. However, we were very happy at the private beach every day which is just a few minutes’ walk. Sunloungers well spaced in pairs with parasols. Beach staff helpful in opening parasols, finding sunloungers and policing the ‘hoggers’! If towels left unattended for 45 minutes they were taken which was good to see. Sea was beautifully clear and very pleasant for swimming. Staff brought food and drinks and no need for payment as can be charged to room. The spa and gym are free to use for everyone. We made use of the gym and also swam in the very nice spa pool during our stay. The spa team were lovely and in fact all staff: reception, doormen, restaurant team, beach team and cleaners were an asset to the hotel. There was a good array of restaurants around the harbour for evening meals-we tried 7 during our stay and all were good to excellent and not overpriced. We ate around 7.30/8 each night and it seemed easy to get a table-many people seem to eat after 9pm here. Overall, I’d highly recommend the Ami as we had a very relaxing and peaceful time here.
