Marko Rooms

Marko rooms are in the beautiful building situated in the quiet neighbourhood of the town of Krk. Rooms are clean and well maintained, with nice balconies and terraces.
The host is great and wery welcoming. He even serves breakfast in the rooms. Thumbs up for it! Parking is provided at the facility so, no worries.
To conclude, staying at this property is highly recommanded.

In a quiet and beautiful place to vacation. If you are looking for accommodation in the town of Krk on a short or long period of time, Marko rooms is the place for you. We highly recommend.
The staff is very friendly and professional, always ready to help with advice and suggestions.

Stayed 1 night in May 2014 as part of a wider 51 day trip through parts of Europe. Paid €30 pn for each double room (#'s 7 & 8). Both rooms had really large beds (large twins pushed together to make a king size bed). Rate did not include breakfast. 

Rooms had a large adjoining balcony with both rooms having a large glass table and really comfy outdoor chairs to itself. 

We considered it was excellent value for price paid. Staff friendly and whilst Marko spoke little English (does speak other languages), his wife spoke a bit of English which made things much easier with respect to questions about the area, etc.
Rooms were pristine; extremely clean, light and airy with good heavy curtains for covering the masses of glass wall for sleeping at night. These really are very ambient and pretty rooms with lots of attention to little details. Kudos to Marko and his wife.

Room had: AC, Heating, Desk & Chairs, Mirrors, Large inbuilt Wardrobes, food size flat screen TVs, Kitchenette with tea/coffee, etc. 

Bathrooms were private and of smallish size but ultra modern and very functional. Toiletries provided. Hairdryer not provided in the room but Marko has them if you ask for them.  Hot water shower with good water pressure. Shower was on own base and had glass doors.

Parking free at dedicated parking onsite.

WiFi: free with okay speed but only worked downstairs in foyer area.

Takes 10 to 15 mins to walk downhill to old Krk historical centre (couple of mins in car). There are a couple of restaurants within 5 min or so walk just down the hill a bit.

My only comment would be that Marko could perhaps consider the importance of answering emails as part of customer service; other than this, once there, all ran smoothly.
Overall, we would give this very new, fresh, delightful place 5/5 stars. We would stay again and wouldn’t bother looking for elsewhere unless it was booked out already.
