One of the best hotels in Ranchi. Quite affordable, yet services are quite standardized and professional.The staff greets you and takes care of you genuinely.One will get a homely ambience over here..

We stayed at Maplewood for 2 nights during Feb'19. We didn't go with much expectations, but to our surprise the rooms and the services were pleasant. The check-in was smooth and since few rooms were vacant, we got one of our choice. The rooms were quite spacious, clean along with a minibar. The bathroom also was clean and toiletries were provided.

The best part was the breakfast. They served a variety of food options to chose from and the staff was courteous enough to serve us hot paranthas and egg items prepared then and there. All in all, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay at Maplewood.

Five of us from England stayed here for two weeks in four rooms and had nothing but praise for the welcome and check in front of house team, Housekeeping were very good, made up the rooms beautifully, and the coffee shop teams and the restaurant team looked after us very well, in spite of our very poor attempts at Hindi. The staff became our friends and remembered our likes and dislikes. Sadly not all the dishes on the menu are available and deserts are non existent apart from chocolate brownie and ice cream. Mr Biswanath Patra, front office manager was exceptional, solving any problems we had with a broad smile and arranging taxi services for us. Maplewood will definitely be the only place we will stay on our next visit to Ranchi.

I stayed in the hotel from 16/10 to 19/10/2018 with my family. Hotel is neat & clean. Has friendly staff. Facilities are good. Complementary breakfast is good and many things are there. Restaurant 'Orchid' is good and food quality is also good. Hotel is near to the Ranchi railway station. We took an Innova from the hotel for the tours and the arrangements are quite good.

Ranchi , I have visited for first time. Booked this hotel as having a lots of search as situation bit different this time. To be very honestly it is a really satisfactory stay for us. Hotel is situated at the heart of the city, very close to rail station. Rooms are very big and well accomodate and mostly well sanitized also. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Food quality is good. FB manager Koushal Kumar is a nice person to interact with. Only minus point I found that breakfast menu is very limited and almost same.....hotel like this standerd must have more variety in the food menu. There is some good food outlet near this hotel also. Overall a pleasent stay and recommended also. 

This hotel is an excellent one... Perfect location, in the heart of the city, with markets nearby, and many well known restaurants and shops within the campus... Basic , necessary equipments were given in the room and washroom, beautiful rooms with clean and large beds, TV and refrigerators... We stayed there for 3 days , out of which we got a complementary breakfast for two days... Food was delicious,though no wash basins were available in restaurants... Service was good , but number of staffs need to be increased in the housekeeping lot... In the buffet breakfast menu, a lot of food items were there & all were equally tasty... Many restaurants like KFC, Chocolate Room, The Cake Shop and a Dosa plaza was also there... A very good stay & would recommend it for those who are planning a visit to Ranchi

This hotel is located near to Railway Station. The room was of good size and the clean. The washroom was also clean. The reception area is small, not much space. The staff is polite but not so professional. The complimentary breakfast was good, not too many choices. Overall value for money.

Its a nice hotel with great food options nearby. Our room was upgraded free of cost to suite room, which was a good start. Suite room was okayish, not fabulous but still good. Overall it was a nice stay.

The Hotel was centrally located and easy accessible to all the places in Ranchi. approx 0.7 kms from railway station and approx 5 kms from Airport. The room are big and clean. The staff is very good. Food is extremely good and the breakfast was also good and elaborated. The housekeeping is not so quick. Apart form this i believe this is the best budget accommodation in ranchi to stay for nay business traveler. They are mentioning the fitness centre in the website but when we checked with the staff they said its under construction but we did'nt see that as well since we stayed in this hotel for approx 12 days.

Yes, this is one of the best economical hotel in RANCHI. But I missed one thing here- smile on the faces of staff. They are good but don’t know why they are looking so serious all the time, not only the front desk even waiter in restaurant, house keeping, room service, bell boy. All are good but no smile :):) 
Anyway as I am a foodie so give 4 out of 5 for food . 3.5 out of 5 for rooms. 4 out of 5 for location . 4.5 out of 5 for value of money. 
Overall a good hotel in RANCHI .
But ..
...
With no smile policy. (for staff only...you can...:))
