This is an amazing ing place to stay.  So close to Tsavo East and so luxurious.  Nicest tented suites we’ve ever had.  Even had an outdoor patio with a private pool.  Dinner was outstanding and breakfast even better.  I just wish we had booked it for more nights.

Amazing place!!! Friendly staff from the moment you walk in! They care enough to notice you aren't at a meal and check if you're OK. 
The private pool behind each tent is too awesome with constant sighting of Elephants, giraffe, waterbuck and a couple of other grazers.

I stayed at the Manyatta Lodge for just two nights but it was a truly wonderful experience. To start with the staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful. Abu on reception was very welcoming and kind and the guards were really helpful when baboons came near to the tent. 

The room itself is fantastic. The bed is very comfortable and the tent itself is spacious and clean. There is a wonderful balcony with a private pool in each tent which really is magical, allowing you to look out over Tsavo. I saw zebra, baboon, giraffe, elephants and more all from the balcony. 

The food was amazing prepared by Chef Lennox and George and expertly served by Paul. There was a great variety in what was on offer and everything was well prepared. I stayed full board which included a packed lunch box which was excellent also. 

Location couldn’t have been better. It is incredibly close to Voi gate but as aforementioned you can see lots of wildlife from the balcony. 

Overall, this was a wonderful stay and as a young solo female traveller I felt very safe and secure so would definitely recommend a stay here :)

Top accommodation in Voi, the location is stunning just outside the border of Tsavo East National park with spectacular view of the animals.
Food is also special, I appreciated particularly what chef Lenox cooked for us at dinner.

Brilliant stay and food! Good tents and very close to the Voi gate for game drive. We were lucky to see the leopard, cheetah and lions very close to the gate. On the last morning a cheetah had crossed the dining area. This place is good

First stop of three along our 2nd trip to Kenya with Spirit of Kenya…nice location 5-10 mins from main gate to Tsavo East.  Hospitality was great, everyone had a snails on their face.  Occupancy levels were low this time of year.  Our bungalow was right in the third from the bar/restaurant which was nice.  Amazing views— literally walked onto our back deck to see a family of elephants walking by.  Pool was a nice feature to clean off after he safaris which can be dusty.

We walked down to the abutting sister lodge and had dinner one night which was nice as well.   At has seats20 feet from a watering hole that had elephants and other animals in droves all day and night.  So amazing to just have a drink and watch them up close.  Watering hole also had a hippo in it.

Animal viewing was great in Tsavo East

Stayed at the camp on september 1st. The place is amazing, the tents are very confortable and the staff is really kind. I hope to sleep again in this fantastic location!

I was looking for a budget safari for our family, and the price of this place was really reaonable compared to others in the park.  The attached plunge pools are fabulous, with added disco lights for night time.  Sat on out verandah, we saw elephants, waterbuck, gazelles, and giraffes.  From the restaurant we also saw buaffalo and wildebeast.  The beds were huge!  The shower wasn't very powerful, but this tends to be the norm for safari camps in Kenya (from my experience).  Our driver in the park was knowledgeable, flexible, and patient.  The food was quite tasty, though a little cold on occasion.  My daughter's one complaint was that internet was only available in the restaurant (personally, I liked being offline for a bit!). We would totally stay here again.

We stayed for 1 night on 19th January and we had a fantastic experience. Although we stayed in manyatta camp we had our meals in voi safari Lodge, it was amazing wat going the elephants at the waterhole whilst eating lunch and dinner. The tents are basic but give the overall feel if being in a safari camp and the elephants passed by close to the tents. The plunge pool is an added bonus we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying again for a longer visit as 1 night isn't enough.

Very nice camp, great views with private pools for each tent and big social area.  we came for the rally and had a great time. Rooms very clean and they are renovating the camp so everything is new and well kept. Service and food was good as well. we will definitely be back.

We stayed here for three nights. Our "tent" faced the park and we had lovely views of the animals on their way to the water hole at Voi Wildlife Lodge. The "tents" were not really tents but lodges with a tent roof. The layout of the bathroom was odd with a separate shower and toilet and a wash basin in the room. The bed was quite hard but the pillows were good. The pool on the tents patio  was fantastic and it was great to cool off in there and watch the animals going by at the same time. There is a footpath from Manyatta to Voi WL so you can walk through and visit the waterhole there.  The food was OK , perfectly edible and plenty of it.  The staff were all lovely, especially the man at the bar whose name we unfortunately forget. He was very funny! The packed lunches we had were superb! The best we have had anywhere. We will definitely return here for our next Tsavo trip

We stopped over at Manyatta on our drive to the coast, and spent nights each way, our only regret is that we did not stay longer! The camp provides a perfect stop over, as well as a stand alone destination for any traveller. We chose to stay at Manyatta due to the small size and Covid friendly protocols. The tents are spacious and the individual plunge pools provide a welcome relief from the heat. The tents are basic but spacious and very comfortable. The food and service are excellent, and the wildlife unparalleled! You can view Elephants from the comfort of your tent, or the viewing area, as well as being a short drive to the park. I will be visiting here again, and look forward to staying at the other properties owned by the same group in the area - Voi Wildlife and Man-eaters

Sanctuary in the wilderness

A priceless property with a Fantastic Captain Joseph and his assistant Yasmeen it is sad to see that such a beautiful place is indeed a victim of Covid - 19

We stayed as a family for 6 nights.

The tents all have a WOW VIEW!!! each with its own plunge pools that allows one to de stress and cool off from the savage Tsavo heat.  The pools are a delight

However, sadly I cannot have the same WOW comments for tents.  They need to have quite a bit of work done on them.  We had cold water every day part from two days when we had Hot water - that was manageable to some degree.  
The challenge was loads of creepy crawls (I guess we contribute that to be being in the wild - point to note that we have spent enough holidays in the wild) nevertheless I would like to commend and applaud Joseph and his team of housekeeping staff who did everything possible to ensure a comfortable stay!! We cannot blame the staff for the Geckos and crawls who find their way in and deny us sleep.  The staff are assets to the property

Meals - Manyatta camp for now is not cooking at the property and all food comes from Voi Wildlife, I am sure that had they been cooking at the property food would have been amazing.  Recommendation is that until Covid situation does not stabilize and Manyatta Camp does not start cooking one should eat at the Voi Wildlife which is just a 5 - 10 mins walk and trust me you shall not regret one bit
Voi Wildlife is an amazing property (I would not hesitate to say I regret to not staying there but the greed for the private plunge pool and the staff of Manyatta won at the end of the day)

Voi Wildlife Lodge is sitting in a priceless location with a water hole facing the park and you are regularly treated with elephants and other herbivores coming to drink water as you feast on the sumptuous meals the Voi Wildlife Chefs cook for you.  The wide range of cuisines available gives one plenty of options for both Vegetarians 
and non Vegetarians.

The waiters are so friendly and so caring and attentive to details, my special recognitions would go to Patrick, Dorcas, Barak, Everylne, The Chinese, Indian and BBQ Meats Chefs.  The Head Chef is so caring that would ensure he visits every table every night to check if all okay and you would be surprised with random treats coming to your table prepared by the chef.

In the evening there is a singer who is constantly entertaining the guests with his music, a dance floor there for those who wish to sway away at night to the music and a daily acrobats show.

Whilst we had a few challenges at Manyatta all in all, we still had a wonderful holiday thanks to the people who do their best to make it special for one and I am sure that once things improve and the maintenance can be done Manyatta would once again Shine as a precious Gem

AN UNPOLISHED GEM AWAITING TO SHINE!!!!!!

The Camp is nestled in midst the Voi National Park, and comprised of 25 beautiful Tent Style property, each Tent has his own Shower, Toilet writing Desk and the most beautiful Patios with your own Plunge Pool. 
Intended to stay 1 night but stayed 4 nights, the tranquillity is second to none, simply bliss during my short time I saw from the luxury setting of my Patio Daily Elephants tremendously big and Majestic with massive tusk, Waterbuck’s, Zebra, Giraffe, Lion and a fast species of different Birds.
The property has always specials,  which can include Full board and can only recommend, the food has a variety for everyone’s taste and eat as much as you can and speaking of Food the Chef even prepared the food for the dog just as he likes it without a sweat, as that property is extremely pet friendly and upon arrival you get a Dog basket food and water bowls. Something others should adopt. 
As to the Service I have met some hardworking, dedicated and professional staff, the one I cant get my head around is Joseph he looks after the camp, make sure meet all guest’s personally, explain the layout of the place and tells you when is the best time to see what, but only if you nice a true Hotelier with passion, extremely hard to find nowadays. He is a allrounder took care of my food and all related property needs Big Thank you!!!!
Then you have Hilary the F&B Manager (I believe) a caring and professional manager, Ishmael the waiter outstanding with a lot of potential to go places, then you have Edward the Barman, his cocktails are to die for after 18 years in the trade, last but not least security who makes you feel secure and shy not away helping to make your stay even more comfortable and have to tell a lot of tales Thank you Peter and Isaac !!
In short you have to trust me is one out of this world experience you do not want to miss and as a former Hotelier myself can and will highly recommend to all who appreciate Luxury Camp with an amazing quiet and peaceful surrounding.   The booking experience was easy and extremely friendly Thank you all for a wonder fulltime,” I’ll be back”

SIMPLY A “MUST “FOR WILDLIFE ENTHUSIAST

The tent was very good maybe new mosquitos nets would be a Good idea.
The pool with tent was fabulas for cooling down hand very clean.
Food was very good lots to choose from the menus.
They arranged are safari which was excellent and a very good price 
 We had to cut are holiday short by one day but would have quite,easily stayed for longer.i will be back next year.

Stayed at manyatta camp for our honeymoon...
Staff was wonderful Joseph was very helpful always ready on call..
Harold made sure our tent was cleaned .. and Alfred the waiter we had from day 1 was Soo amazing.. the bar man too made us wonderful cocktails on our last night..
We even extended our stay by two days... The private pools are just amazing..
What stood out was we were the only Kenyans most of the time but the service was exceptional... 

Definitely coming back with our daughters for our 1 year anniversary...
