Manta Raya Hotel

This hostel is slightly away from the action, on the main road but in a quiet stretch. It doesn't look like much but the rooms are clean and tidy, it's good value and it has a pool. It's also much quieter than I expected and you can't hear road noise or other guests. It doesn't have a restaurant, but it does have a kitchen although not much of a common area to meet other guests. The people who run it are nice guys. It's just across the road from Banana Beach Bar which is a great place to hang out, it's 2 mins away from a big super market and it's a 5 min walk from Rancho which hosts the big beach parties on full moon and Thursdays. You can't here the music but it's only a short walk home. Overall not bad. I'd stay here again.
