Madame Tveten 

My husband and I had a marvellous stay at Madam Tveten. Friends of us celebrated her birthday there with friends, and we had the pleasure to attend the party and also spend the night there. It is such a wonderful place, not to far from Drammen or Oslo. The farm is situated on a slope with at great view of the valley and lake, and there is a very steep hill with an exciting path up to the top, for those who are not afraid of hights! We felt welcome from the very beginning arriving a little bit early for the party. Our room very ready and we were able to relax a little bit, before the others arrived. We all enjoyed a wonderful meal, with really great food and wine,made by the owners. Food for foodies in fact! All three dished was very tasty and we even had cakes later on in the evening. I am not much of a cake eater but enjoyed a small slice of each of the three cakes. Yummy! We had a great night sleep, so quiet! Beds very comfy and the room cozy. Breakfast was ever so special, with homemade bread (from a farm close by), 3 different jams made by the owner, cheese including the old Norwegian sweet goat cheese, an omelette and a few more goodies! Wow! We hope to go back in the future!
