Locanda Dello Scalco

We stayed a week here on a retreat with Vitalic Nutrition and had a fantastic time. Yoga and Tai Chi on the castle forecourt, walks through the vineyards and mountains and by the river with an incredible group of people. It was like having a new family and with such a wonderful atmosphere. The locals were very friendly and we chatted with 90-odd year old ladies who could walk up the hills faster than some of us - this life just has to be good for you! The room was lovely, it is spacious and clean. The bed is large, quite firm and very comfortable. The sheet and blanket were clean and well fitted. In the bathroom there was a jacuzzi bath with flexible shower hose, a bidet and of course the toilet and sink. There was a large mirror over the sink and the lighting was good. All in all it was a very comfortable room and had the added bonus of a quiet sunny and private spot to relax out of the way. The table and large parasol made for shaded drinks in the heat of the day. We really enjoyed the stay and are planning to return soon, we love the area and quite frankly could live there!!
