Local Serdest Hotel is in fact a 6-storey building with 2 rooms at each level. The Manager, Yusuf, is managing two more hotels from Casa Mia Hotel. The Serdest hotel has then no reception and each occupant of the rooms gas a key for the main entrance door. Location: very central and at a walking distance from Blue Mosque, Santa Sophia, Grand Bazaar, metro station and plenty of restaurants Comfort: I was accompanied by my wife. The bed was Ok and so was the heating of the room. The bathroom needs a separation to fix for the shower to avoid any spills over the rest of the bathroom. I told the Manager about it and he promised to do the needful Breakfast: Yusuf offered us complimentary breakfast for all the 14 days we stayed there. It was a rich and varied breakfast Room service: The hotel must hire a professional room service for cleaning because the actual maid is not doing her job properly. We informed Yusuf about it and he reprimanded the lady in charge . Things got much better after that. WI-FI : good connection 24/24 The only inconvenient points atr the absence of any communication tool with the Main reception and the absence of a lift for those staying at the upper floors. In general, we loved our stay and would certainly stay there if we visit Istanbul again
