Lobo Wildlife Lodge

The lodge is really like out of a movie. It is located on a remote Kopje (island rock) in the Northern Serengeti, build into the rocks. The premises are teaming with hyax animals (furry relatives to elephants ?!) and the occasional visiting baboon troupe. It is hardly possible to imagine a more special setting, where you can watch animals below from the pool. Staff was very kind and friendly and also the food was tasty. 

This hotel is wonderful with everybody who serves with a smile on their face. Stunning views of the landscape. Sunset point on top of the mountain is such a nice spot. It is situated on top of the hill and has very nice rooms. 
All rooms have a view of the plains of Serengeti . Mr. Aslam was very helpful and we enjoyed every bit of the stay.

We went to Lobo Wildlife with our client who enjoyed a lot about the meals and the service offered at Lobo wildlife, the Lodge has beautiful views  and great team of Lobo lodge is loving and caring. Great Lodge in Serengeti .

We stayed for 4 days/3 nights (August 12-15, 2019). The property was simply superb.. beautiful views of the plains - we could see many animals and birds from the room itself. They have a beautiful spot to observe sunsets. It was simply out of the world. Great, clean and friendly restaurant, swimming pool, bar, lounge etc. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were completely blown away by the service of the restaurant chef (Chef B. K. Nanda). We were all vegetarians, and he created custom menu for us for every day of our stay! The food was absolutely delicious, even better then what we cook at home, and it was creative, which was very much welcome!

We are just on our way home from staying 4 nights at Lobo Wildlife Lodge.  My wife and I had one of best trips ever to the Serengeti National park.  Lobo Lodge is right in the heart of the park and there are animals frequently seen just outside the lodge.  The building is an elegant modern wooden structure built into the rock. The food was good and the staff extremely friendly and helpful.  We asked late one afternoon after a swim in the pool on the deck where the best place to watch the magnificent African sunset. The waiter not only told us how to go to the path to a viewing hill but he escorted us, waited for 20 minutes while we took photographs and made sure we got down safely. The lodge manager stopped and visited with us at dinner one night.he and was helpful in suggesting places to visit and asked how our stay at the lodge was going.  We would love to go back to Lobo lodge again (soon I hope).

Lobo Wildlife Lodge – This was probably my husband’s favourite lodge! The rooms were basic, but clean so what more do you need. You are only there to sleep before more adventures out and about. They all had big windows which were just perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning. You could also hear all of Africa’s wildlife waking…..wonderful 😊 

The electric goes off at night, there is limited wifi, and you have times for hot showers but all of this is worth it for the views – they are incredible! You can just sit for hours on a bar by the poolside, with a vino of course!, where you have nothing but miles and miles of the most wonderful views! The restaurant staff here are the best. So courteous, warming and just lush! We felt very much at home. Highly recommended.
 

This is an old lady of an hotel, full of past grandeur and charm, some parts show their age but in general the hotel is  meticulously maintained and still splendid. The location is second to none, the wooden architecture fantastic and the rooms very acceptable. We stayed 2 nights in low season and the hotel was basically empty (and the employees rather bored but still nice and helpful), so our experience might have been different with a full house as the place is rather large, but we enjoyed our stay a lot and would absolutely recommend this lodge.

Lodge is situated above 2.000 m.a.s.l., it can be very chilly here. Quiet part of the Serengeti makes the location special. Lodge appears monotonously on arrival, offers 74 rooms, everything is functional, but old fahion style with lots of dark solid wood. No power between 23 - 5 hrs. Overnight laundry service. Restaurant is huge and practiacl, misses cosy atmosphere. Service is average, buffet offers good selection. 

We had two nights here as we explored the northern Serengeti.  It is a stunning place built into the kopje with the swimming pool having rock as its floor!  Service and food were excellent.  The bathrooms are a little dated but are clean and function well.  We loved watching the dassies which live around the lodge.
