38 reviewsHotel is a converted house (which must have been huge before it was a hotel). All the staff was very friendly, reception even showed us to our room. This hotel is a somewhat remote location, but beautiful. They do offer a 3 item dinner selection if you do not want to drive back down into town. The night we were there it was a cheese/tomato salad, tomato soup, or pizza. Several outdoor seating areas were available. We were exhausted when we arrived so the location was perfect for us. Very relaxing. A great location to take a walk in a quaint residential location with the black forest as a backdrop. It really was beautiful. If you are looking for a posh, full-service hotel, this is not the location for you. If you are good with a different hotel experience, try it out. We would go back to stay again. Free parking onsite. Note, we were several flights of stairs up (about four stories, 50 or so stairs). They offered to help with our baggage but we could manage fine as we were traveling light.
