Zem Hotel

We booked last minute and ended up with a large room in the basement. Only 40 euros per night £235 for 7 days. It was a stunning beautiful very large room with a king-size bed, large wardrobe with a easy to use safe, dressing table, 2 bedside cabinets. The shower was large, toilet and sink clean and good condition. Kettle and hairdryer provided. The WiFi was free and worked perfectly. There was free bottled water provided in reception. Also there was Turkish tea and hot water for instant coffee and fruit teas in reception. The room was gray and white plastered with stunning ultra modern lighting. The staff were fantastic and even the cleaners spoke English. The Hotel was a 5 minute walk from the Blue Mosque, Sofia Museum, Bascilia underground water Cistern, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar and Artisan Bazaar. There was also a hop on hop off bus stop and a tram stop next to the Blue Mosque. Saltanarmete had lots of fab shops and bars and some Chinese restaurants. We also found the James Joyce Irish Bar and Agatha Christies Para Palace Hotel where she wrote Murder on the Orient Express. What a lovely holiday! Definitely give the hotel and location 10 out of 10 and highly recommended it.
