I'm not high maintenance, and I look for deals on rooms because I don't spend much time in the room.  That said, one of the most basic critical requirements of a hotel stay includes the unrestricted use of plumbing, including toilets that flush, showers that run and sinks that allow me to wash up.  It is quite hard to believe that I landed on a place in St. Bart that did not fulfill this requirement.  The owner would "turn off" our water at her discretion, without regard to our schedule, waking, going to dinner, needing to bathe to prepare for a couple's massage, etc. This due, supposedly, to lack of rainfall to fill the onsite holding tanks (these type tanks are common in St. Bart). To say nothing of the fact that the owner could use city water, but that would cost something. It is apparently better to inconvenience your guests, and their hygiene, than to supply city water.  This is unacceptable in a place like St. Bart.  No matter what value level the hotel may be, running water is expected.  Not to mention receiving our rental car, also through the owner, so empty on gasoline that we could barely make it to the gas station.  I don't like to review something in a way that hurts someone's business, but those traveling from afar with a reasonable expectation for services should be warned to ensure these issues are sufficiently researched before staying here. Very disappointing.

Has potential, but MUCH to be desired

I had a room with the sea view and it was amazing. I saw the sea but also all the greenery of the island. Mornings on my patio were lovely and relaxing. Very quiet except for the neighboring rooster. It was up on the hill in an actual neighborhood. It was like staying at a friend's house that was quirky and rustic. Not fancy at all but I loved it. Will be back.
Catherine the owner was charming and helpful. Parking was sometimes problematic. If you rent a car, get a 4x4 or SUV because the small road to the hotel is rough.

Loved it!

We wanted an easy base away from racing our boat, what a great find. Near enough to get to the harbour but far out enough to get away from the busy streets. Lovely room and balcony. It provided a great base to put ones head down after a day on the ocean, plus the pool made forces refreshing dip.

If you looking for St baarts luxury then this is not for you, but if you want a clean and personal base to explore the island, this place is perfect.

Great find for sailors!

the place is impossible to find ! I was helped from a men who knew the place , but after 2 hours of search ! to go there there is a road only for jeep ! the room are ancient . there is a good wiev and a little swimmin pool. some times there was a few water for sower. I know st barth , and other hotel better for the same price.

Our stay at Les Islets Fleuris was quite seredipitous.  We planned a last minute weekend trip to Saint Barth from Anguilla.

Service: We were pleasantly greeted at the port by our lovely host, Katherine, who drove us up to the hotel, offering genuine and quite helpful recommendations on what to do and where to eat.  This woman rocks! She is 70 years old and had the energy of a young french girl.  

Value: This place is a steal for Saint Barth! The room was very clean, airy with daily maid service. There is a nice pool with a deck. Car rental was included in our stay, which was a very nice addition.

Location: The place is a up in le Petit Saline, about a 5 minute drive to Saint Jean and 10 minutes from Gustavia.  We had no problem getting around the island and in fact, were really glad that we could escape out of the hustle of Gustavia at night. It is centrally located  so it made it very easy to explore nearly the entire island in 2 days.  The views of the ocean are absolutely stunning during the day and the skies at night are unbeatable. There are beautiful wild peacocks that roam the property. You cannot get the same natural and rustic experience staying in Gustavia.  

Rooms: I slept like a baby and the room was very clean. We had an issue with the drain which Katherine promptly took care of. There is a lovely kitchenette if you prefer to cook and a supermarket at the end of the driveway. Air conditioning in the rooms.
