Clara, the owner, is nice. I arrived late at night, in the darkness, and the B&B is a little difficult to find, and my driver called Clara, and she sent someone to the main street at once to lead us to the B&B.
I had booked a double room (although I was a single traveler, but I like to have a little bit more space, and the double rooms at this B&B are on the first floor with a balcony). Nevertheless I was shown to a small single room on the ground floor. Toilet, shower and bed are in one room, there is no wall between bedroom and bathroom. The smell of the sewerage was omni-present in the room. The windows are barred, and you have to keep the curtains closed all day and night because the workers around the house and their children (who were quite loud) can look into your room all the time otherwise. The bed was very saggy. It's very cold in the rooms and there is no heating.
She can also organize a driver for your stay in Tana. I had, however, my difficulties with the driver. Although I had clearly arranged for a certain tour for a certain price with Clara, he tried all the time to urge me to drive to other places and to pay more money. Additionally, I had settled for an all inclusive price, nevertheless he kept telling me he needed money to buy petrol or to pay for a parking place when we visited markets, etc. When I wasn't ready to pay the extra money, he was suddenly able to produce money himself for petrol, and it wasn't necessary to pay a parking fee at all...
You can eat at the B&B - but I wouldn't recommend that at all. The food's not tasty, and it is WAY too expensive compared to the local prices. 
The first evening Clara got a bottle of beer and sat down with me. We shared the beer and tried to have a conversation, however, she doesn't speak any English. I was quite surprised to find that (pretty expensive) beer on my final bill, to be honest.

Convenient location (close to the airport), but some problems

The lady who owns and runs this place is fabulous, kind, a good cook and will even take you from and to the airport in her truck! Rooms are good but you can be very comfortable in the home area with games and Wi-Fi to pass the time until your flight or the start of your Madagascar adventure. Safe but isolated from any walking or village life that is interesting.
