We started and ended our European trip in Vienna and in both cases we stayed at the Le Meridien Hotel. Initially I had chosen another hotel for our return, but we were so impressed with our initial 2 night stay that we re-booked into the Meridien. Our experience was the following: front desk staff were exceptionally friendly, very welcoming and professional. A Welcome prosecco is always a nice touch. Our room was very comfortable; the hotel's location is excellent within walking distance to most of the central Vienna highlights. The daily buffet breakfast had many tasty options, and we ended our evenings each night at the hotel bar where the wait staff were also personable and efficient.
