What an experience we had during our visit to Le Grand Joux. The accommodation, service, food and scenery were right on point. Here's the top 5 pros and cons. PROS 1. The Service, truly top notch from Joe and Robyn. 2. The Food, almost everything is French, extremely fresh and oh so tasty. 3. The Room, so comfortable and personalised, with 5 hour timers on the artificial candles. 4. The Hot Tub, particularly spectacular at 40c-44c at night, gazing at the stars - I caught a glimpse at 7 shooting stars. 5. The scenery... Wow. CONS 1. At random intervals, the drain in the walk-in shower decided to gargle at us for about 5 seconds, several times during the day and night. Slightly annoying to us, however several attempts were made to resolve the issue. I believe it was only with our room (Room 2 Acacia). 2* 3* 4* 5* * 2-5, there are no 2-5 CONS from us. Look forward to another holiday in winter, preferably in another room.
