The easily accessible property is a unique blend of hotel-cum-homestay. The professionally managed and tastefully constructed rooms had all the bearings of an efficiently run hotel that offered the most attractive and reasonable price point in the entire region. The property is nestled in between the high mountains, tall trees, lush green lawn, expansive flower beds and a delightful organic vegetable garden. Sitting on the green bed in the moonlit night or amidst the diffused lights is itself an enchanting experience. The efforts of cultivating the fresh produce showed in the quality of food that was served. The sumptous spread of piping-hot breakfast and dinner, both of which had an adequate representation of regional cuisines is by itself sufficient to extend the stay at Hundar alone to atleast four to five days. The highly cultured owner and the equally amiable family members who stayed right next door brought in the local touch in abundance. Do not miss playing with SENTI, an unusually well-behaved and playful pomerian who kept my 3.5 year brat quite happy and on the ball (leaving us free to ourselves)! To summarise, do not waste time scouting several other properties when someone is suggesting you the option of immersing yourself soakfully in what is definitely "Heaven on Earth". Lastly, in these days of paid reviews, if you felt this was too good to be true, trust your armed forces guys to give you the right picture...always and every time. Enjoy what is essentially a lifetime of golden memories.
