       hotel was amazing for the price. My friend and I were given an odd shaped room under the staircase with two twin beds, and we felt like we were living like Harry Potter. The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly, spoke good English. And they had two pet tortoises that roamed around on the rooftop balcony restaurant!

Excellent ambience and good quality food and great taste!! Personalized service. Food with a view has always been great and this place serves this best and even the presentation is great. Purely hygienic.

Great experience, i was scouting for the perfect hotels for when  my girlfriend visits and found this gem in lonely planet. They have everything from 400 rupee dorm rooms with hot shower to 2,500 rooms with multiple beds. On the lake. Very professional staff, could brush up on there English but the owners all speak perfect English so just walk to the front desk if you seem the runner boys don’t understand you bc they wont 

So i was here with 2 of my friends and as the name of this place is , we three were waiting for this destination on a 10 day road trip to rajasthan. This hotel offers really good service and the waiters are really helpful and provide you with very useful information not just about the place but its culture and traditions also.
I would recommend that you take room number 17  . Though it is a bit priced as what is the size of the room but its on the terrace and the view from the balcony is just breath taking . 
There restaurant too is located on the perfect place alongside the lake .

Beautiful place , full of peace , superb piece of ancient architect , loved the surrounding , the wind blowing at the roof top and the beautiful lake view , the plight of relaxation at its peek , central location for staying for the tourist at best price

The guest house is at a very prime location. It’s situated on the banks of the lake Pichola and Gangaur ghat, Bagore ki Haveli is in the neighbourhood. I have stayed at different properties at different times but this one is value for money and the view from the terrace is unbelievably amazing.

Simple but at best location 

Mesmerising lake view and positive vibes

Though we did not stay here but this place looked average from the entry itself. It had a very narrow enterance, one can figure out only from the board. Nearby there are other hotels to stay but do compare the prices.

I had stayed in this place 7yrs ago and it was lovely, with the owner’s family staying at the location and lovely terrace. The vintage room was a dream with a perfect location. Nonetheless because of my great memories I booked the place for my vacation with a friend visiting from overseas. But I was so disappointed that we moved to another hotel within 2 hours! The room was not clean (cobwebs and dust all over) , bathroom was old and had water leakage marks, the entire guesthouse looked like it had not been cleaned (plastic bottle, paper, leaves) in the common areas and outside our room. The guest house was deserted. The entrance is not more like a storage space for leather goods. We immediately looked for another place and doing much better options to stay at lower price. The owner was not apologetic about it, rather defensive and did not bother to even consider returning the advance. 
I am just sad that they changed such a beautiful guest house, they have new construction that has ruined the common spaces and terrace which were their main attraction.

Very disappointed; not the same

A complete nightmare. Although the location was good, the room was incredibly dirty and really small, they dont look at all like the photos. Also the staff was horrible, the manager was never at the hotel, and his son, a 13 year old didnt knew anything, of course. Furthermore, it was expensive, some of the lights of the room didnt work and thet dont give toilet paper. Just horrible, never stay at this ghest house, you will regret it.
