Lagos Airport Hotel

the environment so peaceful and conducive right from the reception to entering my room, the staffs were so accomodating. food was great.. they have a very large and clean swimming pool. clean enviroment and free wifi..

Great hotel to stay. Strategically located in ikeja area of Lagos. Best business area , restaurants fun places all surround the hotel. Very close to the local and international airport. Worth the money.

Good proximity to both the International and the domestic wings of the Airport, with occasional over head noise of the aircraft departure and arrival. It is good for a stop over rest but the food are not that great.

Good stop over for Persons on Transit

This is one of the older hotels in Nigeria. Must be over 45 years old, at least. 
Though there is a serious effort at maintenance, one sees through the beautifully conceived architecture that the old plans are being married to new innovation/technology: good attempts, but far from being seamless.

The room was good, the air conditioner was noisy. The swimming pool is big, but the water was not welcoming, besides there were some rusted bits (fence, rail?) around the entrance to the pool area.

We had taken our food along, so we didn't use their restaurants. 

In all, it was value for money (50% discount in force then), and the staff were very polite, cordial and helpful.

Aging ideals

Old but nice place to stay in Ikeja environs. It is priced well and their free breakfast capture the beauty of Western Nigeria typical breakfast. The lift in the hotel rarely function, and the bathrooms is really old.

Change dorms twice first air-conditioning wouldn’t even come on at all and the room was very hot and very sparse. The second room was supposed to be a luxury room. We got upstairs and I’m retired Military if you think about the worst army barracks you ever saw back in the 50s and 60s that would be a step up from what this is. So they finally get the air conditioning working in this room too, I lay down to go to sleep. I hear the hot water heater or something in the bathroom so I pulled the door shut. I go to get up in the morning and go to the bathroom and the door will not open. I tried for five minutes. The door would not open at this point. I’m extremely irritated. I called down to the Hotel front desk. The phone lines are so scratchy. I can’t even hear the guy on the other end so I just told him the bathroom door will not open, and I could barely hear them through the static on the phone. I wouldn’t be in this hellhole if it wasn’t for Delta Airlines they kept us out in the tarmac for four hours with no air in the plane and it was extremely hot and then they canceled the flight and then they put us in this hellhole.
  I would definitely not stay at this hotel like I said, I travel a lot and I have actually slept in the chairs and the airport and I would’ve felt safer and I would’ve had a better night sleep than I had here and I would’ve had access to the bathroom whenever I needed it

Sleep at the airport. You won’t regret it if this is your only place to stay sleep at the airport.

Do not select this horribly bad place to spend 7 days mandatory quarantine,
1. No water
2. food is horribly
3. No house keeping
4. Room service is non existing
5. People are unfriendly
6. Staff is not well trained in there easy jobs
7. Rooms are dusty
8. Smelling

Do not think you will receive your refund for the remaining 7days of you quarantine because they to not replay on your mails, if you call no one there actually have a clue what you are saying or what there job is.

VERY BAD !!!!!!!!!!

To start with this hotel was built in the 70 or 80s and is still stuck there, I heard it was recently renovated. Renovation doe not mean painting only, the wooden floors are shaky and old, intercom is horrible. Room service is a joke and the restaurant has little to no variety.  I see that it got 2 1/2 stars which was too generous unless of course it was done by the staff and management.  Speaking of the staff do not seem motivated and seem to be going with the motion waiting for something better to come along.
Move into the 20th century first before we say 21st century,  renovation needed and staff encouragement 
Honestly,  i dont think this type services would have been acceptable in the 80s not to talk of now

Stuck in the past

We stayed one night at this hotel. On arrival,  the receptionist said we had no booking until we showed him a confirmed booking printout. It took the hotel more than five hours to find us a room. We were reduced to napping on the settee in the bar area even though they were aware we had come on an overnight flight from Europe.  There was no attempt to provide us with complementary drink / food. The room when we eventually checked in after threathening to  look for another hotel was in a poor state. The fridge was dirty and not functional, the bathroom was dirty and had missing tiles. In effect the hotel charged 4 stars fees but provided one star service. Because of the above,  we only stayed one night instead of our intention to stay 3 nights. The hotel needs a complete make over of it's physical facilities and Management Style.
